Not a very popular show nor did it have a long run, but I liked it. It was very much of a family show with light-hearted family problems. Very sad when the father did pass away, and while the show had a lot of potential then, I feel it didn't go as indepth as it could've. It felt as if the family moved on from the loss quite easily. |

It was pretty good overall. I enjoyed it. If John Ritter hadn't passed away, I figure it would have lasted several more seasons on the air. |

I actually think Ritter passing away made the show better. The grandpa and nephew were hilarious. The father looking out for his teenage girls story was getting old! |

It was a very realistic family show - over protective father, and obnoxious teens. But it wasn't overly sickening in terms of the perfect family with pure happy endings. |

Huge John Ritter fan, so i don't think the show was better without him. It was hard continuing watching without him. I was always thinking "What would Paul say?! His reaction would be hilarious.." Ahhh, the goodbye episodes was so freaking SAD!!!! Obviously because it was real. The writing was really amazing, and a great tribute to John/Paul. Bridget: "I never would of got this far before. Dad would never let me go out like this. He would of definetly sent me up stairs to change and tell me to cover myself up in some hideous sweater and then give me a one hour lecture on how I should respect myself and how guys are only out for one thing and I always hated when he did that! I just want my dad back!" :'( |

One of my favorites! I love JR but also enjoyed the show with James Garner. |
