I think Ken Corday truly wants to do what is best for the show. Unfortunately, he never knows what that is. Let him take the bows for this one if he wants, just as long as he stays away from the ones who can make this work.

Hmm...everything is old is new again? I thought that was then, this is now.
Well in fairness to Corday he was talking to fanbases that pissed him off by, y'know, wanting to see their couple on-screen in some kind of quality storyline. Thus far Carly, Lawrence, and Vivian fans haven't seemed overly-demanding that way. So the then/now luncheon rule doesn't apply to them. Yet.

Yeah, hard to really compared '91 vets' to supercouple's fanbases. J/M have been strongly vocal for YEARS. S/K fans wanted them back for YEARS and finally got them, to be shafted. The likes of Vivian, Dirty Larry, Carly, and Justin are all very different, not because of their time away (something they share with S/k) but because of the kind of fanbase they have. Its not a 'luncheon' fanbase. Its more excitement about what they'll bring to the show overall.

That was Louise's comment, not Corday's but I see your point LOL.

The Vivian stuff sounds awesome but you have to love Corday saying he was thrilled to have her. I call BS on that. Louise and him did not get along at the time of her exit and it was obvious from the fact that the Alamain's were never mentioned on the show after she left (except for at John's funeral) that he wanted to forget about her and the family completely and never had intentions of bringing her or anyone from that family back. Tomlin is the man behind this and because he somehow (thankfully) influence Corday enough to do what he wants, we are getting these returns.
I thought her beef was with Tom Langan?

They better not screw this up, because this sounds like it could be damn awesome.
I totally agree. This is one huge golden opportunity in my mind.
