I really hope OLTL can start beating GH more consistently, maybe even crack the top 3? The show seems to be getting better again.

The last 2 Fridays DAYS has dropped significantly from the rest of the week:

Last week's ratings:
Thursday: 1.8/2,838,000
Friday: 1.7/2,525,000

This weeks rankings:
Thursday: 1,8/2,688,000
Friday: 1.6/2,280,000

Looking at all the other soaps Friday seems to be fairly consistent with the rest of the week and some even gain on Friday. For DAYS its weird how Friday seems to bring horrible numbers.

Didn't CBS, for like a year or maybe even two, do that too for awhile? Hell, Y&R hit a 3.2 on Friday!

These poor soaps...I can't believe that it looks like Days is the only soap up in total viewers versus last year and even it is hitting lows, well tying lows, in other demos!

But for Days, hopefully the returns will bring back some people...or at least keep the people that they do have now. If, after all these vets exit and Days goes up or begins to stabilize in ratings, that on the verge of some huge and great returns, it starts falling again....I don't know whether to laugh or cry or both.

It's true - I don't know why it's dropping now on Fridays (people getting bored and giving up early on the week?), but Days used to be SO good at Friday and Monday shows. Sadly, I think that's completely disappeared.

Hopefully Ciara's kidnapping and Bope front and center will help Days out a bit..They are hurting right now..But the Sami/Rafe show has gotten boring..

Thanks Kirk

I'm not surprised about Days. This summer is awful. GG on everyday is nothing to tune in to watch. But the stories are either stalled or just boring.

Horrible ratings.

Oh I agree, GG is hard to watch and makes any scene he is in unwatchable. I wish Meredith would kill Rafe, but I know that's just a fantasy of mine.

Days didn't break 2 all week.............not good at all. The Rafe snooze hour isn't cutting it.

NBC just doesn't get it. They are going for the wrong age demographic.

Hello NBC---David Letterman on cbs is beating Conan O'brien. Wake up.

Maybe the new NBC top brass will realize it.

They should have never fired the vets.
