Not to mention Hope will wind up pregnant some how and at first the baby will not be seen as Bo's, but later on, they will reveal that Bo's time release sperm did father the child!
LOL! Carly will probably get pregnant too. Because you know, Bo and Hope haven't had a love scene in about 4 years. So I think a Bo and Carly love scene soon makes sense.
Hee! Comedy gold. Awesome, Tripp, for coming up with "time-release sperm"--so perfect! And yes, Ellie, it would only be the right thing to do for Carly to arrive in town right when Hope is (gasp!) angry at Bo and having trust issues with him again, and give Bo and Carly a love scene about three weeks after she hits town. Or would that be waiting too long to give the fans what they want? And are we going to get a split screen with Hope and Justin's love scene? Wow, this stuff practically writes itself!

C'mon, now you guys.

I love that this echoes the John/Marlena stuff with the quickness and randomness of it all. Which makes me think they're vomiting this stuff up on purpose to get the kind of response seen in this thread. They can now say they tried to give a storyline and viewers weren't receptive.

Alternatively- what if Carly's behind it, not Lawrence? We keep hearing Carly 2.0...chick was buried alive shortly before leaving town which would have to change a person, yeah? She could have learned some tricks over the past years...
I really hope they don't go there with Carly being behind it.However I do think that being buried alive would have done something to the girl ecspecially if she didn't get therapy.I mean look at how they had Stephanie acting popping pills even though that storyline was dropped it seems like.

I hope the writing is plagiarism and new writers have to be brought back or hired anew. One poster absolutely right on the Ransom writing. Absolutely wonderful movie! On the other note of Bo and Hope, I wish just once the mighty Hope would tumble into humanness and make mistakes like she perceives Bo does every time they split. I never saw Carly, but if it teaches Hope a lesson or two, So be it.
Ransom with Mel Gibson and Rene Russo is actually a remake of an earlier movie called Ransom with Glenn Ford and Donna Reed. This Bo/Hope storyline is definitely a ripoff of those earlier movies. Can a soap be sued for plagiarism for copying a movie?

That's a good question. Some of this stuff is practically word for word with the dialogue from the movie. When Bo grabbed the phone and said what he said to the kidnappers, it was IDENTICAL to when Mel Gibson did it in the movie. So many things have been identical. I'm not saying similar....I'm saying IDENTICAL. LOL I like the story because it's exciting and I loved the movie. But, I'd be a bit embarrassed to be in those scenes because they HAVE to know this is the same thing as the movie. Soaps rip off things all the time....but does this go too far? They used the movie as a set up for a storyline.......my advice would be to start changing it up quick so it isn't such a carbon copy. I'd hate to see the show get sent off the air over something like this!
