The character of Claudia was an embarrasment for someone of Sarahs talent. The character became way too dark and there is just nowhere else for her to go. Too bad though she's not taking Sonny with her.

I never thought in a million years that they would cut Brown(Guza seems to love Claudia), though then again, GH has such a short attention span when it comes to characters. They bring them on, put alot of focus on them, and within a year or two they are out the door, sometimes even less than that. I guess it was Brown being in the role that made me think she wouldn't go anywhere anytime soon. Though it doesn't surprise me if Sarah chose to leave...

I don't just blame the writing. Sarah Brown was just wrong for the role. The only role she excelled at (to several) was Carly, because she sucked at ATWT too. Sarah didn't fit the role any more then she fit the role she played on ATWT. Both were horrible in my opinion. Something about Claudia made my skin crawl from day one, she always seemed to have a creepy love for her brother Johnny that bordered on sexual, at least the way Sarah played it. Gross. Quite honestly I didn't care for her portrayal of Carly either. I have never liked her in any role she's played on daytime. Please don't send her to Y&R next!! The strike didn't help, nor did Guza. Amen. You can say that again. The character was a trainwreck and the storylines since have been a disaster. Sonny is even more of an abusive jerk.

I knew once they made Olivia a pivotal player that her days were numbered. Sarah acted her ass off though and I actually came to like Claudia. It's a shame too because I feel like GH has been SLOWLY getting better since early July. Now, I have this feeling they are going back down the tubes when I hear about Claudia's November exit because I don't want Claudia to just be killed off in some sort of stunt. I want there to be a fallout and one of the best things about the Carnival was that there was fallout. There was more focus on the buildup and fallout then the stunt and that is how it should be. Now, it's looking like they are headed right back to stunt-land. I will miss her and hope another soap picks her up. She's a fantastic actress and I wish they had just brought her back as Carly. I still have trouble with Laura Wright in the role.

But Sonny has had too many women...he's had Carly, Claudia, Olivia, AND Kate all in the past year...though is Kate even still on the show?
