Nick tells Phyllis the truth about Sharon's baby!

After weeks of keeping the truth from Phyllis about Sharon's baby, Nick finally comes clean.

As Nick feels over the death of his baby, Phyllis worries about his sudden anguish. "Nick can't possibly imagine that he's lost another child," sighs Joshua Morrow. "His heart is breaking. It's a really tough, bad situation."

When Phyllis tells Nick how concerned she is, Nick decided to confess the truth. "He's been planning to tell her the truth all along, but wanted to tell her in person."

Sympathetic, Phyllis tells Nick that they'll get through everything as a family. "Nick isn't surprised that she's being so supportive," says Morrow. "She has give him everything she can. But it makes everything better that she handles it so well."

Later, Nick tells Victoria the news. Sharon also informs Victor, Jack and Noah that she lost the baby, but decides not to tell her son the truth about the child's paternity. Jack tells Sharon that she needs to look after herself.

Ashley introduces Nick to his "sister," Faith, and allows him to hold her. "He has no sense that this baby is his," says Morrow. "He just feels at peace holding this new life. But he is taken aback by the fact that her name is Faith."

"I have a feeling this will go on for a while," winks Morrow. "Maria Arena Bell has put together an awesome story."

I'm so glad Nick doesn't have that "feeling" when he's holding Ashley's baby. I hate when soaps, particurarly DAYS usually, do that.

Put your hands up for Obama

The only feeling Nick gets is the bulge between his legs. I'm pretty sure he is a carrier of some STD.

As for Josh's comments, I have long stopped investing in his word. He has been pushing his own agenda for a while.

Faith is such a played out name. These writers never think outside of the box.

Ashley changes the baby's name after overhearing TGVN telling Nikki she is the great love of his life, she has no HOPE anymore! but she does have the FAITH to go on and be strong for BOTH of her daughters.

Ashley is not a sane woman. She's not fit to raise anyones baby.
This story was so poorly written it's not even funny. The whole show is a damn joke.

^^I so agree Lisbeth

It almost seems intentional to make it a laughing stock! I can say with pretty much certainty that if I had just lost a baby, I surely wouldn't want someone taking that baby's name....so, since Nick and Sharon's baby was "cremated"...but was considered a "term" pregnancy, they should give her a name....so what are they supposed to name her? :shame:

Baby Girl Collins

remember, only certain family members and Jack know that Nick is "suppose" to be the biological father, HELL Sharon and Nick are going to LIE to Noah about his baby sister!!! how would it look if they called the baby Faith Newman!!!

As far as im concerned Curly, these writers have lost all credibility.

Baby Faith will eventually reunite with her mother, and Sharon will be a happy mama. "Mama Case" will surely deliver those scenes. ;)
No matter what these hacks give her, she turns it around. :D

Yeah, what was I thinking.....trying to be rational and sensible when the writer's are flakey, what did I expect

And SC never overacts or over dramatizes, so I am certain she will deliver those reunion scenes with spot on emotions ;)

Mama Case is da bomb!
I love that she said in her interview that she works hard to NOT portray the victim. It's clear to me she's not too happy with these hacks either. B-)

"Awesome"? Is he kidding? Maybe he's just saying that so he doesn't get a 3 month vacation like Neil.
The baby was cremated? Since when does a hospital just arbitrarily do that without family consent?
Did they just supposedly toss it in the incinerator in the basement?
Sharon should look over the hospital bill when it comes, cremation is not free, neither is transport to the crematorium.
Sorry, I was being realistic, *smacks head*

This situation is very weird and not at all plausible, but given what type of soap genre The Young and the Restless has turned out to be now.

Sharon loosing her child and Ashley getting to raise it does not makes sense and it is heartless. Ashley being manipulated to that degree by Adam, should not cancell out the fact that Ashley did not give birth, she should be able to tell whether she did. Physically, she would have to know, and it would not be magically a gone sign, a woman after pregnancy takes time to heal, WTH was Ashley lying in bed as if she had a massive delievery?

Sharon whio is loosing her child is horrific to see, people say that Sharon is mentally disturbed, Sharon is kleptomanic, and she is depressed, she does not see the dead as Ashley.

Sharon deserves her child, and Ashley needs to learn that she never gave birth to one.

JM comment on how this is awesome as well, shows how he does not know the good quality of soap dramas, and his acting throughout the Young and the Restless is evident at that as well.
Spot on analysis! The show is a laughing stock for sure. For any woman NOT to know she hasn't given birth is as insulting as it gets. Ashley's had a child before (Abbey), so I'm thinking a woman would physically KNOW if she had a baby or not. This is beyond asinine. Adam is a cartoon villain who just isn't watchable any more.

Sharon - what more can said other than what is being written for her is completely heartless. You don't even have to be a mother to understand how depraved and sick this is, especially since Sharon has already lost 2 daughters. The backlash to this is fierce and swift.

Josh- LMOL! His comments are as laughable as his character. We haven't seen an "amazing" storyline from MAB and her team in several months and nothing upcoming indicates differently. Josh has lost all credibility with a lot of fans and his agenda isn't in sync with the core viewers of this show - if he actually watched the show he might understand that better. :wow:
