Soap Opera Digest, October 6th2009 Thumbs Up! It Figures For years, it seemed the men in Salem were blessed with looks, but not brains. Enter Rafe, who appears to have both in spades. The former FBI agent knew there was a connection between Nicole and Grace ever since the baby died and Nicole seemed as devastated as Sami. In the past, a DAYS hero would have shrugged and looked the other way. But Rafe doggedly pursued what he hoped were leads--the fidgety nurse at the clinic, shady Dr. Baker, Nicole's random friendship with Sami and tete-a-tetes with Brady--and they ultimately led him to figuring out the whole insidious baby switch. Sure, he may have been knocked out and trapped by Meredith before he could share the news with Sami (this is a soap, after all), but it's enough that he actually figured it all out. At last. Let's try and get this thread back to topic. :laugh: 'Rafe has looks and brains in spades' and SOD knows it! I'm glad for the good guys - bad boys can be fun to watch but Rafe has made 'good' guys interesting too! Thank you SOD for saying what many of us already know! :applause: :applause: :applause: I think that rafe will be connecting with Sami in to deliver some great news at a crucial time linked to the reveal of this I have no doubt! Meredith kidnapping him and then Carly nursing him has simply delayed the inevitable so that EJ, Sami, Chad, Will can catch up with some of the missing info - but I think Rafe will re-enter Sami's life in time to be the one to confirm if not reveal to Sami that her baby is Sydney! :wub: Even the looks and brains comment is debatable. :laugh: Well he is better looking then EJ/JS IMO ,, an atleast he knows a pregnant woman when he see's one... LOL

All we know is what they are writing now, and frankly they have written nothing that indicates Sami and EJ bond in any special way or come back together. But time will tell, though I expect many twists and turns to come .. because I have a feeling Rafe will have some sort of memory or health problem or somehow be prevented from telling Sami the truth. But I also feel they will find their way back to eachother because they share a deep "mutual" Love, one that brings no shame or regrets.....And thats important.

IMO Rafe is a raging bore who is of little value. The character had promise, but that slowly disappeared because of poor writing & poor acting on GG's part. While he is easy on the eyes, his nasal, monotone delivery gives me hives. Seriously, he is the male Mia, when it comes to emotive acting.......but at least she's got the excuse of youth. IMO, he just doesn't have enough depth to be a leading man. I also don't care if he "figured it out" or ends up telling Sami, he can't be that smart if he, the great hispanic hope of the FBI, managed to get his arse kicked first by a hitman and then by mad Meredith.

Its ok you and others dont care about SOD, plenty of fans do, though Boy we sure did hear about every SOD rave about Ejami a couple years ago.. LOL I happen to love Rafes voice and he is WAYYYYYYYyyyyyy better then Mia.. He is funny and quick witted and knows how to laugh and cry. I also think his voice and eyes are sexy.. but its a matter of taste .. I feel the same way about the constant blinking of JS .. it drives me crazy but I know he cant help it its part of him, just like GG's voice is a part of him. As for how smart he is ... well atleast he can tell a pregnant woman when he see's one... LOL Sami never was able to get anything over on Rafe, while the same can't said for the sainted EJ who was duped just about 20 out of every 24 hours a day. So by comparasin Rafe is a friggen genius. We do not generally post these "thumbs up/thumbs down/applause,applause/winners&losers" SOD and SOW articles. They are not 'news' and only lead to this type of thread. Also, as I think all of you realize, the winners of these little opinion columns are generally done on a rotating basis by the magazines. In the future, please do not post these types of articles from SOD and SOW here.
