That was enjoyable. Forbes seems like such a cool guy.

I do worry about Kriezman. The show had been improving the past few months before he got there. One of the most successful stories was the Adam story which involved Margo, Tom, Casey, Allison and also spun off a story for Bob and Kim. Then you had the revitaliation of Paul and Emily, Lynn Herring and Dusty/Bonnie.

What bothers me is how many stories Kriezman is simply dropping.

Adam - Rumors say he's gone and will be replaced in the story with Tom Pelphrey. So we finally get a good actor in that legacy role and we're replacing him with a newbie? Is this Santa Barbara? Because we know it's the GL connection that got him there, not him fitting into the story. So now I don't expect to see as much from Tom and Margo.

Dusty - He hasn't had a viable love interest in YEARS. Then they paired him with Bonnie, a black actress, and he's magically on the backburner. For the first time probably since he joined the show. Fans responded favorably to this story, what crumbs we got. I'm sure Kriezman's follow up for Dusty won't be nearly as good. If these scenes with Teri are any indication, it'll suck donkey balls.

Hunter - Here you have another legacy character played by a good, well liked actor and he's not being given anything to do. Why? My guess is that he'll be kicked to the curb for Pelphrey too.

Now overall the show is still good, but it's always only a matter of time with Kriezman. I worry he doesn't know the history of the show well enough to honor the vets, who actually did fairly well under Passanante. Also the loss of Bonnie (and not using Tamara Tunie who is open to staying longer) speaks volumes for the continued lack of diversity. Don't tell me people are protesting black characters when most of the soap audience is made up of minorities. Idiots.

Sorry, I kinda disgressed from the interview (which was great). I'm so glad it wasn't that Michael Muhney interview. I wasn't looking forward to that.

Michael Muhney was scheduled for today but I delayed it a week. Next week, Michael and I delve into Y&R and Chris Engen.

That was the saddest part for me to read too, that they can't even touch each other without contacting the people in charge. Soaps will be off the air by the time most of their audience is "ready" for gay relationships and that's the saddest part of all.
I can't say I'm surprised by this. I like the Noah/Luke story because it was fairly well conceived and it didn't come out of left field, but my first reax when I heard they were headed this way was "On a Procter and Gamble soap?"

Hey, I just want a good story! Sounds like they never even tried with this, and that's a shame. :)

The Talented Renee Jones

Forbes seems like a nice guy but I'd hate to see him return to OLTL. Nash & Jessica were overrated IMO. I didn't mind them at first only because it ended the awful pairing of Antonio & Jessica.

Not a big March fan, but that was an enjoyable interview, eye opening as well. The way Nash and Jess ended, I understand the need for closure. I wouldn't mind him coming back to OLTL as a ghost and sharing a heart felt good bye with Jessica.
