Nick is jealous...pure and simple. He is used to holding a certain place in Sharon's life and affections. He simply can't stand the thought that she is moving on without him. That is the problem here. He lied to his wife that it was about Noah, but if that were the case he would have pulled his impressionable teenage son out of the house with Ashley and Adam a long time ago. JM was definitely into the scene yesterday. He gives what he can in all his scenes. It would be nice if sometimes viewers would stop taking their dislike for characters and projecting them onto the actors. |

Sharon does not know what Adam is truly capable of doing...nobody in GC does. Adam forged a diary...Jack, one of Sharon's best friends did the same thing. Sharon is giving Adam a second chance because after all she has done recently, she would be a hypocrite not to give him one. Unfortunately, he will probably prove himself to be unworthy of that chance. Regardless of Adam may or may not do to Sharon, she is a grown woman. Nick needs to give his friend advice and then go tend to his wife and child. Please don't tell me you think Nick is being "protective" of Sharon against a man that he let his son live in the same house with for months -- get real. Nick is jealous because he still has feelings for Sharon. Phyllis doesn't have all of Nick's heart , she accepts it...her fans should do the same. |

Trust me there are MANY of us who are sick to death of this boring, played out Phick vs Shick crap. But I noitced Jack has been sprung from the quad. I would bet my bonus that PB went to the writers and demanded to be set free! I hope MS is next. Both PB and MS are brilliant actors. What wife actually stands there after knowing what has transpired between Nick and the love of his life and encourages him to go talk it out? I would have been all kinds of crazy on his azz! I mean, shouldn't there be outrage at his jealousy, rather than sending him on his merry way and then to almost defend Nick's actions to Adam had me shaking my head! MS' quirky expressions had me thinking she doesn't even buy what she is saying! She has been reduced to this puppet, go ahead "baby"....go protect Sharon. But, honestly when is she gonna get it? It didn't matter when she tried to interject and stop Nick from being around Sharon, he still finds a way! Even though she knows she is not number 1, Phyllis still thinks she is winning at this game. And, boy, JM had all kinds of emotions, anger, jealousy, pride, apprehension.....little snippets of NN I remember! Oh, I think this twist with Adam/Sharon/Nick is so intriguing.....pity that Phyllis is just a by-stander, eh, scratch that last part! :moon: LOL |

The take on Nick, Sharon, and Phylis is due to character loyalty. A poster can criticize and trash a character that is not part of the pairing that he/she wants, and be damned. I am a Sharon and Nick fan so I also see the selfishness and dislike for the character Phylis. It is predicable that a Nick and Phylis fan would trash the Sharon character. I just don't get emotional about it anymore but we will see in the long run where it will all lead. I think that down the road, Sharon and Nick will find themselves back to one another and Phylis will move on--she is too strong for the Nick character and she needs someone more like she is. JMO. |

I hope she's next too. I've never been any kind of fan of Phicks but I have always been a Phyllis fan. She is way too good of a character to reduce her to the whiny, clinging and ever forgiving wife. The Phyllis of years ago would have neutered Nick by now and moved on! It's almost embarrassing to have to watch MS say and do the things she has to do.
I completely agree. I've always been a Sharon and Nick fan too but I actually do like the character of Phyllis when she's away from Nick and actually acts like the character used to. I can't believe the damage this triangle or quad or whatever the hell it is anymore has done to all the characters involved. No one is even worthy of rooting for anymore. How sad :shame: |

I would be very careful from making assumptions based on a day or two of story here. I would bet money that the story is much more about control of Newman than anything with Sharon thrown in for extra drama. I promise you that Phyllis won't be sitting on the sidelines in this story at all. Regarding JM and phoning it in, you should check a couple of the boards with less fan base vibes. Even more impartial viewers have been telegraphing that Joshua is not crazy about his story and it shows. Check SON or TWOP. It's more than Phick fans saying it. |

^^ Personally I could care less if Joshua is happy or not in his storyline. He gets well paid to ACT what they write, does the writing suck, absolutely but any kind of decent actor is still going to give it his all. I've never thought JM was in the same league as MS or PB or even SC anyways and by being a crybaby all the time lately they are all acting rings around him. I'm sure that the others in the "quad" haven't been all that happy with the storyline all the time but I haven't seen one of the others phone their performances in at all. Joshua needs to be really careful in my opinion. |

I don't need to check other sites to know my perception of certain actors, thank you very much. :wave: I have been on record as saying I think JM has been very monotone as of late, but yesterday's show, was quiet different, for me anyway! He showed a hint of all those emotions and this fan validated it. All I know is what I see unfolding on my screen right now and it is Sharon that is playing a very big role in fueling the fire between these two brothers, with Phyllis on the outside looking in. Nick is all kinds of crazy over Adam being remotely near Sharon, and I find that freaking hillarious! :moon: Edited by curlygirl, Nov 4 2009, 12:30 PM.

Sharon Case stated on "That Morning Show" this AM that her character will be falling in IN LOVE with Adam ...... I can't wait for this!!! Sharon Collins Newman Abbott Wilson-Newman!!! unless she decides to go after Daddy Victor when he returns alone!!! she always has wanted her some Daddy Victor!!!

^^^ after what happened with Summer because of Victor, do you really think that Phyllis wants to seduce Victor?? nope, Phyllis does not think of Victor that way, Sharon on the other hand has a Daddy complex where Victor is concerned, and she ACTUALLY klissed her FIL and stuck her tongue down his throat. Sharon has already fallen for Adam. Her stalker, Nick, noticed it, too, as he made a general "Oh my God, you have a thing for this guy, don't you?" statement. I'm sure the two will hook up, but here's the thing - Adam came into this friendship to cover his ass. He figured he'd let a few secrets out, to gain her trust, and things would be good. When Nick and syPhyllis took silent Supergirl trick-or-treating at Sharon's, Adam realized how badly it pissed Nick off that he was with Sharon, thus began the chase. Adam's in it for revenge, now. He didn't give a shit about Sharon, then, and he still doesn't. He wants to hurt Nick, and he's being pretty damn successful, so far. The question is, when is Phyllis going to tire of being the second-rate wife? I get so tired of seeing her wallow in her self-pity. She, and Sharon, are the two most pathetic women on daytime television. It's morbidly ridiculous. |

Who know's, she tried to seduce Victor once why not again. Phyllis forgave Nick for going after her son Daniel, who would of guess they would of got involved considing their pass history.. In time she will forgive Victor. I think it quite funny Nick wive & ex-wife have kiss Victor Newman. Watch out wive number 3 lol. |
