The Greatest of them All!

Please Link to DR!

The buildup explodes when Rex and Natalie go looking for a missing Jared at Nash's old vineyard in Napa where they run into Jessica who was summoned by a call from "Nash." After hearing from a distressed Corinne, his aunt, Rex goes to Michigan to check on her leaving the girls alone at the vineyard where they come face-to-face with Jessica's presumed dead father and Natalie's manipulative ex-husband.

Meanwhile, the question of Rex's paternity has been looming large since Roxy dropped the bombshell last year that Charlie, not Walter Balsom, was Rex's dad, then changed her tune and claimed to have killed the so-called monster. Roxy visited a mysterious figure in a hospital bed, used him to get stem cells to save Shane's life and then pulled the plug, but viewers saw that the patient survived.

This week, John follows a lead to Michigan and finds Rex and Brody being held against their will by Corinne, and Brody's sister, Nadine, who were coerced to keeping the men from their loved ones. Before Corinne is arrested for kidnapping, Rex demands to know the truth once and for all about his father, so she hands him an envelope explaining there's no going back once it's opened. Inside he finds a man's ring inscribed with the initials: ML, MITCH LAURENCE!!!

Not only will Mitch's return have a major impact on Rex, but Laurence will cross paths with Viki and Dorian. The villain also intends to mend fences with Natalie and Jessica. "In his mind, he's not torturing them. He loves Natalie; he's attracted to her and desires her," asserts Valentini. "And Jessica is his daughter. He wants to be close to his family. In his own twisted way he just wants his girls back. He just wants what was denied him." Mitch will not take no for answer. He has total faith in himself and believes he can will whatever he wants to happen.

Valentini teases, "Mitch will find a way to make his presence felt for a while in Llanview. Long enough to keep everybody tantalized and stir everything up."

Note: Roscoe Born's first appearance as Mitch Laurence is Monday, November 9!

This is hardly a shock, but I'm very much looking forward to Mitch's return, nonetheless.

Okay, I am having a brain shutdown, help!

So Mitch is Jessica's father, but I thought Jessica and Natalie were twins.

They're fraternal twins with different fathers.

I don't like this. This makes Rex and Jess biological siblings. I ADORE the Rex/Natty sibling bond. I don't want for Rex to have another sis. Especially NOT Jess.

So I don't know. I don't want to see Rex building a bond with Jess now. I want my Balsom sibs to continue sharing scenes and storylines.

Thanks hon!

Oh my, but there is still an ick factor about all this. So Jess's father is in love with her twin sister..... :puke:

Now that Mitch is still alive after six years since we last saw him back in early summer of 2003, that means that he and Dorian are still legally married!

After all... tomorrow is another day!

Ewww I knew about the Mitch/Jessica/Rex backstory but had no idea he had this thing for Natalie.

Yucko at McPain rescuing her from Laurence.

Back when Black meant something in Llanview

Heed the Messenger bitches!!

This is going to be a great November!

Mitch is so badass.
He is OLTL's best villain, followed by Carlo.

I find it so funny
that he is still in love with Natalie.

Really?

You tried to physically remove
her heart...while she was still alive!

You have an endless supply of women
cronies under your hypnotic spell,
throwing themselves at you,
and you choose that mess?

This is probably his worst crime yet.

I'm excited for Mitch's return. OLTL is rather boring right now. I'm sure with Mitch's return it will get better.

Thanks Amello!

I am sure Mitch will spice things up at OLTL. It has been bland and irritating with all the Blair plotting and lying to Todd. The Rex/Gigi romance has fizzled. And I just mostly want to slap Nora into next year for manipulating her son. So, if RB brings the bad boy who strikes fear in everyone's heart, I can deal with it.

Hopefully OLTL will flesh out Mitch's visit, unlike DOOL did with Trent. RB rules in villainy.

This reminds so much of Doug Marland's James Stenbeck storyline in the 80s on ATWT.

I'm liking it, though I can't help but to feel as if I would have liked it more if it had played out after the Go Red Ball in 2008(like it was planned). I can't put my finger on it, but something is missing now, that wasn't in 2008.

I'm not a long time viewer, but Mitch's reign of terror last time was FANTASTIC! I loved it, and how it pitted both Viki and Dorian against a common enemy.
