The show actually had a "90th Birthday Party" for Alice sometime in the early 2000s. She will be 95 IRL in one month. |

All of Salem knew that Jennifer had been raped during her faux-marriage in Alemania. Hope was "dead" at that time. I imagine that folks filled in details once Hope unlocked Tom Horton's Wooden Puzzle Box and resumed her life as Hope. I don't know that I would have recognized someone I never had seen just from photos. Especially since Carly's forehead appears to have gotten seven times larger than the last time we saw her. Please, loan her some Mia Bangs!!! |

Watching Wednesday's show now. Great that Sami and Rafe have reunited but gosh can they wait a bit before jumping eachother's bones. I know Rafe said that he can't tell her yet what the secret(s) is(are) but you would think she would push him further, or at least question where he has been all this time. |

I love how Hope is so, so concerned about Ciara's welfare that she is taking the advice of a therapist who is advising her that the best way to help Ciara cope with her kidnapping is to remove her from her home and move into a large mansion away from her father. It all becomes clear to me why Sean would think that it would be a great idea to take Claire on an around the world voyage in a forty foot sailboat. Because everybody knows that a baby that has been thrown over the side of a cruise ship, and attacked in another boat, then floated to shore on beach would benefit from some more deep water adventure. Hope is a fucking whack-job and so is her eldest son. They are probably rounding the Somalian coast right about now. I will feel cheated if they are not held for ransom by pirates. School, routine and a little house with a picket fence? Very, very bad for children recovering from trauma on Days of our idiotic lives. :drunk: |

So...is Carly kind of a slut? Just wondering, as in the fantasy sequence from Thursday, Lawrence says "I warned you what would happen if you were with another man again", lol. They are dressing Ari horribly, wow. I know she's pregnant, but it's still bad. Also, they should never put KA's hair up like on Thursday's episode. Her face looks way, way too thin with her hair pulled back. OMG Carly's getting arrested? Where is Kate? She lives at the DiMansion... Well, it seems to me that on DAYS all the men who have been to know to have murdered, kidnapped, raped women (Stefano, Victor, Lawrence) drop the word "slut" on women, ones they have been married to, their sons are in love with, in general. As for Lawrence, he's was an abusive man. That is a fact. So his words to Carly have about as much truth and accuracy as would the words of any abusive thug and felon. As far as the character's onscreen sexual relationships.....it was Bo and that was it. We knew she had been with Lawrence first, as she had their child. But she ran away from him after their child died at birth (or so she thought). She came to Salem. She married Vic because of, after Bo's rejection but she and Victor never consummated their marriage. Then she got back with Bo, they married in Mexico and until she was buried alive, there were no other men. After she was rescued, she went back to Lawrence. We still don't know what happened then, but the word of a crazy, abusive man is probably not reliable. |

I think when Mike thought Bill & Laura were having an affair, he was a younger teen-ager. If I remember the story correctly, Bill & Laura were only trying to keep the truth of Mike's paternity from coming out (that he was Bill's son and not Mickey's) out of concern over what the revealation would do to both Mike & Mickey. At the time, the only 3 people who knew the truth were Bill, Laura, and Tom. Of course, while Mike was worried about Bill & Laura (who,although they were in love, weren't physically involved), Mickey was having an affair with his secretary, Linda Patterson who then proceeded to pass off her baby Melissa as Mickey's (not knowing that Mickey was sterile, which Tom, Bill, & Laura knew but couldn't expose Linda because it would, consequently, reveal that truth about Mike). |
