I'm really not liking this whole thing with Billy getting vilified by pretty much everyone in Genoa City. Along with a lot of important advertisers pulling out of Restless Style due to the Victor and Victoria pieces. That's totally unrealistic and it comes off as a forced attempt to stack the decks against Billy. I can understand Lauren and, to an extent, even Jack pulling their ads out of it.. but some sort of swooping ad freeze out? And I really don't see the problem of Billy railing Victor for the shit he caused. About a year or so ago, when Jack was working for the magazine and he did some tabloid-style pieces that caused Nick and Phyllis to buy him out. Weren't their sales going through the roof, but Phyllis and Nick went a different route and their advertisers were unhappy and some pulled out. So they were like "Aw shucks, so what, we'll have to deal with that, but we'll be selling a more 'respectable' magazine."? And then they lost money on it? Honestly why would they have advertisers pulling out, rather than scrambling to sign up when the last time they had done this style of articles they sold really well and the advertisers were happy? It's really bad writing to shove Billy into a corner like this. They could have the locals, due to their connections with Victor, kind of admonishing him and his style of journalism.. meanwhile, his magazine's selling like hotcakes, he's getting new advertisers to replace the ones that left (and getting paid more) and is afforded a bit of a win. A "You may say what I'm doing is wrong, but people are buying it, the magazine's making money and we've got new, higher paying advertisers invovled" type of win. I dunno. I just get pissed how they treat Billy on this show. He's young, he'll make mistakes, but he shouldn't be shoved into the "epic fuck up" corner where everyone's piling on him. Some of it just isn't realistic. |

LOL.....I didn't even think they were trying. I thought they were just expecting us to pretend that we don't notice. They have been doing a very sloppy job. Also....I can't tell you how disappointed I was to see AH on screen again. I thought after her airport reunion with JT we would be rid of her for a few months. |

I am totally sick of this lilly/baby routine, and mac offering up her bod for the cause is ridiculous! When did they become such good friends? I wouldn't even do that for my own sister. I was surprised to see AH again too, I thought we had seen the last of her, I hope that was her swan song. Billy, did have every right to put whatever he wanted to in the magazine, and Nick made a huge ass out of himself giving him "15 min" to get out of the building! :huh: Billy should have waited though and thought it through before he published what he did, although, his mag is probably going to be more interesting than the endless fashion parade issues. We all know everyone loves juicy gossip. |

Phyllis is a loser bitch. I have no sympathy for her. I don't feel any connection to Lily/Mac/Cane either. It's hard to buy Lily as a poor stricken cancer victim when she has full makeup on. The villification of Billy makes no sense at all. Victor was responsible for Colleen dying! |

Sorry Kenny^^, I cannot applaud Phyllis at all. It is so over-the-top, so LOUD--WHY? It just didn't do much for me. :shame: It's like they are not really sure what to do with her any more? ^o) Stick her in a scene with Nick and Jack, no, have her shove a note meant for her daughter in her cleavage :eyeroll: (of all places) and then attempt to strangle a mentally-ill woman :sleep: .....it all just fell flat imo! :blah: But, I did like MS' hair ;) |

Double Co-signed. It makes zero sense. The Lily and Cane stuff is also a mess. Having a baby right now is just stupid and selfish...for both Lily and Cane. I also agree that Lily looks ridiculous. With a bald head....and face full of make-up. It is very half-assed. Either commit to the look, or don't bother. |

Also....if Patty is supposed to be "criminally insane" I loved that they let Phyllis stroll up into her cell and close the door. lol....yeah, that made sense. Oy.....Y&R is annoying me right now. I can't help but nitpick. Michael being a "jack of all trades" lawyer just bugs the hell out of me. He is a criminal defense attorney? he is a corporate attorney? Adoption & Family Law? lol |
