Indeed they were. It makes me sad everytime I watch clips from that time period and see just how far the show has fallen. :(

And daytime, in general.

It'll never be as good as the 90's. Sigh.

Oh god, this is going to be hilarious and fun all at the same time. This was when I started watching DAYS. Going to have to watch over the weekend when I have time!

I loved every ounce of this storyline. I remember how conterversial it was and my mom HATED it. lol I was on the edge of my seat everyday. Looking back, it may have been silly. I was a teenager when I watched it originally. But, I think they did a good job with it and I'm a bit amazed that they got away with it. The ratings didn't suffer that's for sure. Thanks for posting. I love this stuff!!!

Yes and I'm LMAO at the thought that we will be missing the 2000's as this decade continues on.

I know! LOL. Gimmie early 00's ATWT/OLTL/Y&R/B&B and fuck - maybe even Days over the shit airing now. The only thing Days has in its favour is after an entire decade sucking so hard and being so unrewarding to watch as a viewer, they really cant do anything to make it worse.
