Posts: 3 Group: Members Member #4,718 Joined: June 9, 2009	maybe the twist is that sami is going to be pregnant again and this time it is Rafes child- or maybe Ej kills Nicole after he finds out - or maybe Grace and Sydne were twins - LOL- this whole thing is geting old and we need to move on!! Actuly I truly think the twist is that Stephino took Nicoles baby at birth and is raising it in Italy or somewhere like that. I think she will get out of prison and find out her baby is still alive- EJ will have disowned his father by this point and when the whole thing comes out he will end up fighting an over seas custody battle with Nicole

Sami has 3 vibrant, healthy children while every other female in Salem like Chloe and Nicole who can't even have children. The twist would be no more ridiculous than how they made EJ turn out to be the father of one of Lucas's twins. I can remember when Lucas was the father of both Johnny/Allie. But, the writers were in such a rush to cement EJ/Sami together, that they conjured up the ridiculous twist of Sami being pregnant by both men. The show needs to stop revolving around Sami's needs. The only thing that will happen to Sydney when she becomes Sami's is being carted off screen like Johnny and Allie. The next time that they pop up full time onscreen they will be like Will around 17 years old or so. So, I say bring it on the twist.

That would be a twist. Not for a moment. The only baby Dr. Baker was alone with was Sami's baby. When the switch took place Nicole was right there begging for Sami's baby. I think it is a good speculation that the final twist in the story is that Grace is somehow related to Sami or EJ through Mia or Chad.

Even if it was, it would mean that either Mia's or Samantha's baby is still out there somewhere since three babies would have been born or ended up at Dr. Baker's clinic and we've only seen two (Grace and Sydney). 1. Nicole's baby - Sydney (who survived); 2. Mia's - Grace (who died); 3. Samantha's baby - (If it wasn't Grace or Sydney) So, if Rafe got the wrong toothbrush and Sydney were actually Nicole's baby and Grace was actually Mia's, what happened to Samantha's baby? Or if Rafe got the wrong toothbrush and Sydney were actually Nicole's baby and Grace was actually Samantha's what happened to Mia's baby? I can't imagine the writers would be sadistic enough to have Samantha suffer the loss of yet another baby by giving her back to Nicole and start re-grieving over Grace's death while knowing that her baby was still out there somewhere! That's pretty convoluted and cruel even for a soap! I also don't think the writers would want to have Mia's baby's survive since we'd have to suffer though another teen custody go around between Mia and Chad. Been there done that. That's why I don't think the "wrong toothbrush" theory adds up; too many wacky ramifications for too many people. I'm betting that the twist that everyone's talking about is that Nicole's baby did survive, but Dr. Baker actually took the baby and sold it to pay of his gambling debts. Afterall, Nicole was unconsious at the time. When she came back to buy another baby, Dr. Baker saw it as just another money-making opportunity. As for the switch, he went along with it just to up-the-ante for blackmail. This also explains why Dr. Baker's hand twitched after he was supposedly dead. He knows who bought Nicole's baby. With this twist Samantha keeps Sydney. Chad and Mia finish high school without the baby/custody drama and it re-opens the door to the Nicole/EJ relationship and who knows may even be her get out jail card. This twist just makes things simpler. Of course, it is Salem so anything is possible....

Although I do think it's possible that Stefano merely has the Samanther-Elvis bambino hidden away with Dr Baker and the dayplayer nurse who helped Rafe. (Too bad that Will Utay is ill and can't return as Dr Rolf....he has a history with hiding Salem spawn in his laboratory.) We never saw the scenes where Stefano figured out what Nicole had been doing, which makes me think that Dr Baker was in cahoots with Steffi. And I don't think the current writers would shy away from adding trauma to Sami's life. She is the lead female on the show and the more bizarre angst, pain, turmoil, stress, agony, highs-and-lows that they can convolute, all the better. Plus, a third baby redeems Nicole to most of Salem ("She did it because she loves Sydney").

That would be a twist. This is Days we are talking about so they could rewrite it that way. However there will now be a total of three DNA test done on this child and the results were only altered on one. The one that EJ had done for genetic testing, his father altered the maternity results so that Nicole would appear to be the mother. No one is bringing that up.
