Please link to DR only. Thank you! :) A Closer Look -- Phyllis This week, Phyllis is thrown into a tailspin when Patty sends her a letter of apology and Summer reads it. Phyllis is furious because this is the woman who tried to kill her daughter. When Phyllis opens the letter, it says, "I'm sorry I tried to hurt you." But Phyllis doesn't buy the apology. She hasn't been able to speak to Patty ever since the poisoning incident, so she's at the end of her rope and she wants to confront her. Phyllis gets in Patty's face because she doesn't buy her act. Patty continues to claim that she isn't aware of what she did, but Phyllis sternly warns her to stay away from her daughter and her family. Emily interrupts and comes to Patty's defense, which Phyllis isn't happy about. Emily tries to tell Phyllis that she doesn't understand Patty's psychosis and Phyllis is like, "Are you kidding? She tried to kill my kid! I'm not going to understand anything, bitch!" Phyllis tells Emily she's useless. She says, "What kind of doctor are you? You're a freak too." Emily orders Phyllis to leave and Phyllis obliges, for fear that they may admit her too if they see her acting too crazy in a mental institution. But on her way out, Phyllis warns Patty and Emily both to stay away from her family. Explains Stafford, "Phyllis feels like Emily is on Patty's side. It's like, 'Okay... if you are supporting this wackadoodle, then I want you to stay away from my family too!' She wants Patty (and everyone connected to her) out of her life." |

Well, if Phyllis is going to take that stance, she'd better spew the same venom towards her father in law. He brought her to town and knew MJB was Patty when the scoop went out that Patty poisoned Summer. Don't be a hypocrite, Phyllis! |

I'd believe her if she directed that anger to Victor & Nick, then she would not be so foolish to just Patty who is 1 of many people she needs to be mad at. Phyllis is a hyocrite. :soapbox: |
