How sad! The soap community has lost a very ardent advocate. We didn't always agree about DOOL but we were in total agreement about the greatness of Another World.

Wow I can't believe this! Steve was a great man. I had gotten to know him a little bit over the years and he was always a caring, passionate man. This truly is a great loss for the online community!

Aw, this sucks. Steve was a fantastic man to talk old soaps with... my last discussion with him was the day I found out Somerset won the SOFF Award for best serial. He's going to be sorely, sorely missed on this board. :(

CARLY'S BACK!!

This is heartbreaking.

Steve and I didn't always get along and things were not left in a good place between us. I regret that I didn't do something to work our problems out. I just hope we knew how much I respected him as a poster and as a person. His knowledge of soaps and so many other things was vast and he was truly a passionate, witty, and thoughtful man of great character. My heart goes out to his children and the rest of his family and friends. This is truly horrible and I send my thoughts and prayers out to his family. May he RIP.
