The moment is they look at a photo album of Sydney, Sami talks of Grace and Sydney, EJ attempts to comfort her. By putting his hand on her back, and placing his hand on her hand, her head is turned opposite of him. No they don't hold hands, and her hand is on a table. Rafe coughs to announce himself in the room, and she runs to his side... We all knew that moment wasn't gonna be much.

ITA with Nicole's hair and with Lucas' can he talk to Will about his hair... I know it may be the style but still.... Let me adress the EJAMI crowd, James pretty much let's us know that EJ is gonna use their pain to try to get back together with Sami. He seemed unhappy about it... what do EJAMI's think. Is that okay with you, do you think it stinks (and you want something better), or do you not see it that way... Just wondering?? And by the way, I'm sure EJ catches her because he's in the proper position, what was he supposed to do, let her fall? Edited by kitkat, Nov 28 2009, 02:53 AM.

Sami passes out wonder if she's pregnant by Rafe, the last time she fainted she was pregnant with Sydney. That would really add fire to the water with EJ wishing to reconcile with Sami.

^LMAO! Sunflower, I thought the same thing. The only time a tough chick like Sami (huh?) ever faints on Days is when she is pregnant! God help us! LOL! And it makes sense...Sami can only have a relationship with someone if she has their kid! Maybe that is the big twist, AND Sami gives Sydney to Nicole to raise because she just can't handle another kid! LOL! I love it! Thanks for all the spoils! Looks like a good week! |

Please tell me they haven't made EJ Mr. Big drug lord so that after Sami reconciles with him, they have another reason to bust them up and Rafe will be the driving force behind it, waiting to bring her back... I'm an Ejami fan and IF they're going to give them a go, I'd rather they give it a real go and not a 2 second shot in the pan like last time. Tired of that. I'd rather they not get together if that's the case. |

Dear god no more pregnancies for at least 5 years. Not a huge worry since it seems everyone on the show is either infertile or too old to have a baby. I don't even want to see Sami pregnant with another EJami baby. :shame: |

Like everyone else I have no idea what you are talking about. But thank you for your... concern?
 What are you talking about? I'm sure the writers have some sort of reason for having EJ be the one in that moment to catch Sami as she faints that has nothing to do with him being in the proper position and him being the only possible person to prevent Sami from falling. Probably in this case it's just this show's contrived way of setting up triangles and having moments of people in close proximity hinting at some sort of romance/sexual tension and someone else witnessing it. Like when Nathan had to catch Stephanie when she fainted after giving blood and Melanie had to walk in on it. |

I hope EJ overheard and he can get out of this stupid drug business once and for all and this stupid plot point will go away. I'm still annoyed as hell that Arianna did not turn in any of the information she found out about Victor's involvement in the drug business to Roman because I just know they're going to have SuperRafe bringing down EJ for this shit when thanks to the magic of Salem month-days he'll have been this big drug kingpin for probably no more than 10 Salem days before he's arrested. BTW, what the hell was Brady supposed to have risked for Arianna? He stole Granddad's computer and tipped him off to her whole investigation. He didn't lose his job or his home as far as I can tell... so... WTF? |

I think I get what she's saying. She's asking EJami fans if they're OK with EJami being together even if Elvis uses the hurt Sami feels as an "in" back to her. In other words, do the ends justify the means? Is it OK for EJ to use Sami's vulnerabilty to sweep her off her feet just as long as they're together? It's an honest question. I've seen fans who want their couple together no matter the cost. I've seen fans who would rather not see their couple together at all rather than have them together by contrived means (i.e., vulnerability, at the expense of throwing another character under the bus, etc.) For example, with Nicole being Sydney's mom again....I can probably unabashedly say that for me, the ends justify the means because I like the way AZ is around those little girls. However, as much as I LOVE the way JS and AZ work a scene together so professionally (in this day and age of no rehearsal), I'm not sure the ends justify the means in this case to have EJole again because I think EJ is a jackass right now. Why do I feel the sympathy for Nicole instead of EJ or Sami? Only the gods know, LOL. Anyway, I digress. Those are just examples of what I feel kitkat is approaching. Kitkat, it's OK if you let me know I'm wrong. ;) |

Well I can't speak for all EJami fans but my answer to that question is I am looking forward to seeing EJami come together in an honest, committed relationship and I don't see much of an opportunity for either one of the to manipulate the other to get there. EJ has certainly tried in the past to manipulate Sami and had dismal results. Of all the people in the world that might be able to do that to Sami at this point in her life, I'd probably put EJ at the bottom of that list. However, what excites me about what's coming is that for the first time ever there are absolutely no lies or secrets between EJ and Sami in their relationship. For a very long time EJ was lying to Sami - first to win her over, later to stay married to her. Once that was out in the open Sami was lying to EJ about her pregnancy then the supposed adoption of baby Grace. Those issues are now out there so I am very much looking forward to seeing what happens between them now that neither of them is manipulating the other. What confused me about Kitkat's question was this part:
I'm not sure where that is coming from. I haven't seen that anywhere. I did see this comment in the SOW article about Syd's kidnapping:
I'm not sure if that is what she was referring to but I don't see anything in there indicating that EJ is planning to 'use' her pain to reconcile with Sami - just that he begins hoping a reconciliation is possible. Nor do I see any indication that James isn't happy about it. But I have to say, it does my EJami loving heart worlds of good to read the comment that it's always been Sami for EJ - even when he was with Nicole. :wub2: Truth be told, though - I don't expect to see an reunion for EJami anytime soon. James has indicated EJ is going to be alone and go darker for a while. There is still the whole issue with the drug lord business to be sorted out. But I do think that what we're seeing now is the foundation being laid for their future reconciliation. I think the writers are taking this opportunity to remind the viewers that there has always been and still remains a very strong pull between EJami. Even after every thing that's happened between them - it's still there. And I'll enjoy those moments and these reminders as all the other things get sorted through before they start down the EJami road in earnest. |
