Please link to DR. Schuyler’s world is turned upside down this week when he discovers that Stacy has been lying to Rex…and then is led to believe that he is the father of Stacy’s baby! Due to Kim’s skill at spinning the truth, “[Schuyler] now thinks in his head that he has this secret love child with Stacy,” Amanda Setton (Kim) explains. “He comes in and catches them playing with the pregnancy pad and says, ‘Oh, my God, you’re not really pregnant?’ and Kim says, ‘Yeah, she is. Trust us,” previews Setton. When she realizes that Schuyler won’t be satisfied without an explanation, Kim stuns him by telling him that the baby Stacy’s carrying is his, “He says, ‘What?’ And she says, ‘Remember that night when she slipped you a Mickey…well, that did the trick!’ And he’s all, ‘I thought we didn’t sleep together!’” Kim and Stacy manage to answer each of Schuyler’s challenges to their story, and he eventually begins to accept it as the truth, but then he is told that he has to pretend he never heard it. “Once they convince him that he had sex with Stacy, they tell him to forget it. They say, ‘Now that you know, keep your mouth shut,’” says Setton. They then make a convincing argument for why it’s in Schuyler’s best interest to keep this revelation a secret. “They basically tell him, ‘This plan will work out for you because Stacy is now gonna be with Rex, Gigi won’t want Rex anymore and you can finally have Gigi,’” Kim’s portrayer explains. “And he’s like, ‘No, I can’t do that to Gigi,’ so she says, ‘But if you tell her you had sex with Stacy, she won’t want you.’” In exchange for Kim and Stacy keeping silent about the night that Gigi spent with Schuyler, Schuyler grudgingly agrees to stay quiet. “What a nice guy,” teases Setton. |
