But Kev is right this is Days and they don't pay attention to silly things like that. I didn't like Melanie at first but she has grown on me the past several months. I want her to be Carly's daughter. I can't say the same for Taylor. She still needs a lot of acting lessons.

EJ and Chelsea are both older than a hidden Carly teen should be. Taylor sucks, but on one of her good days Molly would be a hoot with Louise.

I was watching some old DAYS YouTube clips and I noticed Melanie reminds me a bit of characters like Anna DiMera or Kimberly Brady, but it's just been so long since we've seen a character like that I think it was just way too much for viewers at first. And I had thought the whole Soup/Rick fiasco happened last year. Was that really only earlier this year?

It makes more sense story-wise for it to be Melanie considering who Melanie interacts with. I couldn't be happier with this because Molly will be great with Louise and Crystal.
