I agree. I'm probably even more overwhelmed with James Franco than I thought I would be. I enjoy his character very much and he has killer chemistry with everyone so far that he has shared scenes with. I'm loving GH right now. |

James Franco is a good actor, but I am not really enjoying it yet. It has taken me a couple of days to figure out what it is, and I think he is just not quite on yet with the rhythm of soaps. He needs a little more energy behind what he says and his actions. I applaud him knowing his lines and being focused, but it may be at the cost of a good performance on a soap. Lots of soap actors have a naturalistic acting style, but there is an energy to these kinds of shows that I am not seeing yet. Maxie stole the show from him, and that is really hard for me to type. Still they got me back in a little, have not watched more than a clip in a year. |

I admit I've been checking out GH for Franco and while I'm still assured that this show will never hook me, I am enjoying his story quite a bit. Having never been a GH fan, it's kind of fun to jump in to their world for a few weeks and really see how the GH cast interacts. To be honest, I haven't even really watched a full episode in years so this in and of itself is an accomplishment for them. |
