The horrific discovery is set in motion after Sami pleads with EJ to work together to find their daughter. EJ agrees. Their collaboration rekindles their old bond. "This girl has just got a hold over EJ," says James Scott. "It's sad that Sami comes bloody close to him in this horrible circumstance and EJ gets something out of that. It's sad that this is the only type of relationship he can have with her; when things become their worst and forces move them together."
Sami and Rafe rush to the station when they learn about the break in the case, but Sami crumbles when the efforts to find Nicole are not successful. EJ and Rafe console her, and EJ begins hoping for a reconciliation with Sami once they find Sydney.
"For EJ, it's always been Sami, even when it was Nicole," admits JS. "She's the mother of his two kids. The thought that maybe they can make their relationship work has to go through is head." It is truly sad that the only way EJ seems to be able to have a relationship with a woman is if she is able to have his children. If that is what he thinks a relationship is, I guess that Sami is his only option. :shame: He seems attracted to desperate sad women in horrible circumstances, but with Rafe in the picture, he comes out looking like a pathetic interloper. What a waste! :shame:
Run, Nicole! Run! Viva Sydole! :cheer:
However, I do look forward to his interaction with Faye, and hope she tells him off about what a strong woman Nicole is. A motherly figure could really put EJ in his place when it comes to his wife, and while Faye ain't much of a mother, this could be where she redeems herself a bit.
This whole story doesn't sound too bad at all! I guess the twist is in who took Sydney. JS's comment about the Dimera child bringing in money leads me to beleive it might be Dr. Baker since he knows it is a Dimera baby...or Owen, trying to get revenge from the whole Stephanie debacle, kidnaps EJ's baby, etc.
I'm excited for this!

Makes Rafe look better and better and EJ more pathetic than ever. Maybe this is what JS meant when he said in the Michael Fairman interview that EJ is totally alone and he becomes harder.

Dr. Baker or Owen could be interesting candidates and would make for great twists. But it appears that they are setting the table for Stephano to be behind the second kidnapping.
In one of his scenes with Kate yesterday he said that he thought EJ's threat to "banish" Stephano from his life was a "terrible mistake". When Kate asked what he was going to to, Stephano said "What I should have done right from the beginning."
Tommorrow, according prevuzeSpoiler: click to toggle Stephano is keeping his own search and rescue efforts a secret from EJ and the police and he makes an ominous threat against Nicole safety when his minions find her. He says that he wants "alone time" with granddaughter and Nicole and that he "...will show Nicole what it means to interfere with my family." .
That doesn't mean that Dr. Baker or Owen aren't in cahoots with Stephano, but unless these are all redherrings, it does appear that Stephano will behind the second kidnapping and is responsible for Nicole being hospitalized.

So in other words Monday, they look at a photo album and discuss their daughter and decide to lay aside their differences and find their daughter. Which is something she's already discusses with Rafe. Sami starts to cry and EJ tries to comfort her somewhat inappropriately, considering the fact he knows she's in a relationship with Rafe. But I guess her feelings and desires don't matter, it's what EJ wants. By the way, at the end of Monday's show she is in Rafe's arms.
So in other words, she's upset and frustrated, she has had not much sleep and she faints EJ catches her. I mean maybe he should have let her fall. Rafe tends to his love. And EJ decides he wants Sami, it doesn't matter what she's feeling right now for Rafe.

I mean it's EJ that wants to control the woman and have her as his. This sounds like a caveman to me just with an English accent. Just so she has bore his off springs, he may be a brit, but he sounds more like a brute.

As for comforting her inappropriately...is he trying to take off her top? Cop a feel? Stick his tongue down her throat? :eyeroll: What do you deem inappropriate when two parents are trying to cope when their child has been kidnapped?

Yeah, Sami's feelings for Rafe don't matter to EJ at all. That's why he let Rafe die when he saw the hitman about to shoot him. Oh wait...

Well, JS called it right. It is sad when he can only have a relationship when a woman can be a brood mare. Almost makes me wish they'll find some illigitimate kid of his out there somewhere to see what happens. Hey, maybe the guy can start a harem. :P

I believe she's in Rafe's arms...and is thinking of EJ and Rafe not looking all that happy about it from what I have read. As for comforting her inappropriately...is he trying to take off her top? Cop a feel? Stick his tongue down her throat? :eyeroll: What do you deem inappropriate when two parents are trying to cope when their child has been kidnapped?
it's the difference between reading and seeing, I had read about it so I decided to see it. It wasn't worry, it was more like "huh, what do you mean by that?" Obviously she didn't mean much of nothing cause she embraces him deeper after she says it. Rafe seems to be the one with the problems, it's not Sami.
Inappropriate, now this is a guy who knows Sami is attached (meaning with Rafe). Yet there he is with his hand on her hand, not in her hand (meaning she's not holding his)... And his hand on her back. I didn't say taking advantage, I said behaving inappropriately. EJ knew Stefano wanted Rafe dead and wanted to know why so he stopped that shooting. And also, I didn't say that EJ doesn't care whether Rafe lives or dies, EJ doesn't care who Sami loves.

That is so true. It is all about EJ, no one else. He is alone now--- estranged from his father, although still living in his house, his wife has decevied and betrayed him and is gone. So, that leaves Sami. He doesn't care that she is in love with someone else and has made that perfectly clear to him. I didn't see Rafe looking worried at all at the end of Monday's show. He knows Sami loves him and he loves her. If she wanted to stay at the mansion to let EJ comfort her-- she could have, but instead, she jumped up and went to Rafe and left with him. She may feel pity for EJ, but not love and he knows it.

Hmmm...so since Rafe and Sami are dating no one is permitted to touch Sami's hand or back? Good God - when they get married should he keep her in a bubble? :o How else can he be sure that she won't be treated 'inappropriately'?
Unless Sami has asked EJ not to touch her and he refuses to honor that request I see nothing inappropriate in their exchange. However, I do see very clearly the bond the two of them share and not just because of their children. :wub2:

EJ is acting "inappropriately" toward Sami when she and Rafe are dating by simply touching the top of Sami's hand or patting her on the back as they commiserate in their grief and worry about their kidnapped baby? Geez, is Rafe going to make her wear a burka if they get married?

I highly doubt if Sami said she wanted to stay with EJ that Rafe would have been perfectly fine with that, given that before leaving the pub Rafe was blustering to Roman about how he thought Sami had spent enough time with EJ already.
I also don't think Rafe looked very comfortable with Sami's concern about EJ during their hug at the end of the show whether she has love or pity or empathy for him. Rafe is insecure about EJ whether he admits it or not.

I have no clue why Rafe would be insecure about EJ. Sami pretty much ran her ass out of the mansion as soon as Rafe came to pick her up (that seems to be her MO with EJ. LOL!). One could say she was still thinking of him when she was hugging Rafe, but it seemed more out of pity than concern. I am sure Sami does feel sorry for him...he is all alone and it was because he threw "that thing" out on her ass without a second thought. Pair that up next to SuperRafe and there isn't a choice.
Speaking of though, where is that other "bond" that Sami and EJ have? Why isn't Johnny at EJ's house? Or with Sami? Where is that kid? I truly think that they forgot about that "bond". LOL!
