OLTL, 2. DAYS	Please link to DR. This week, Natalie, Charlie, and the rest of Jared’s loved ones gather together to say good-bye to Jared. Things go awry, however, when Mitch stuns everyone by showing up at the funeral following a moving eulogy by Jessica. “It’s quite a good surprise,” laughs Roscoe Born (Mitch). What’s more surprising is how he takes center stage at the service. “They are aghast,” Born describes of the reactions of those attending Jared’s funeral. “Disbelief! Astonishment! Horror! Shock! Tears of rage!” Mitch announces that the charges that were brought up against him have been dropped and he is now a free man. “The thing that’s important about Mitch is that he’s a performer. And he’s on most of the time,” explains Born. “He’s not only a performer as a preacher and as a cult leader, but he’s also a performer as a puppetmaster and ringmaster. So this stunt is a piece of performance art for him. And he loves to improvise. He’s not just a scripted type of performer; he lives in the moment. He wants to see how things are going to play out and what his next move will be.” Before Mitch can make his next move, however, John and Bo decide to arrest him for this “stunt”. As he is being led away in handcuffs, Mitch stops for a moment and gives a cryptic message to Rex: They have plenty of “work” ahead of them. “Rex is certainly an important part of the puzzle, but he’s not the final piece,” the actor hints. So what is next on Mitch’s agenda? When he is taken to the police station, he is conveniently placed in a cell next to Dorian, who was arrested at her own swearing-in ceremony. Mitch takes advantage of the opportunity to make a subtle threat against the new mayor. “His next move is manipulating Dorian,” Born previews. “He begins to threaten her girls and reveals to her that he has minions everywhere and that he knows everything that’s going on, almost on a minute-to-minute basis, so that as mayor, she had better exercise her power to get him out of there…or else.”

Maybe we can see Langston in some exciting drama instead of the crap she's been getting with Markko this year with his parents.

I wonder how successful Mitch will be in his manipulation of Dorian? Are they going to remember that Mitch and Dorian were married when he "died" last time?
