Thanks for the update, Angie!
Not that anyone is shocked at this point...but proof positive there will be no Christmas Eve miracle ala Marlena & Belle. :)

Yep. It's clear there is no miracle this year. Oh well. I'm just glad we got a good twist out of it and what could be a good story. If we weren't getting that, I would be upset because I wanted a good Christmas miracle but this in the long run should be better.
I can't wait for this stuff. Christmas week on Days is always great. I figured they would air on Christmas. The past few years they have been.

Actually, I kind of already suspected this a few days ago so I already had my little period of depression over it LOL.

I couldn't be happier that there will be no Christmas miracle. First of all, I find them cheesey, and secondly, to have one for the likes of EJ and Sami ... ?? ... pppffffffttttt. No thanks.

Well, for me (I LOVE cheesy junk like that, especially this time of year) it would be more about Sami then EJ.
Whatever the case, I'm all for what is best for the show and I think this story will be in the long run so bring it on!

I'm happy there's no Christmas miracle - not really into that sort of cheesy stuff. This is a great story, with an awesome twist, and as long as the pacing is solid, I think it can go on for a bit longer.

Why would they be confronting Kate??
Well, she is Mrs Stefano DiMera, so its plausible they will bark up that tree. Kate certainly would not partner up with Anna. The last time they shared screentime, they were growling at each other and flinging food at one another during the "Hearth and Home" infomercial. Anna sided with Team Brady in the whole Santeen storyline, helping them out, for a fee, of course, and providing the stack of DiMera letters that Bo/Hope/Marlena/John read all summer long while seated at the pub. She also canoodled with Roman before learning that Tony had been living on his desert island since 1986. The whole Sydney Re-Kidnapping has been crammed into an incredibly short number of Salem Days (barely 72 hours). I can't imagine that anyone could have set it up in advance of Nicole sneaking into the DiMansion and sashaying out the patio door with the baby. So it had to be someone following Nicole already (an EJ goon, a Stefano goon, or a police officer) or someone who happened upon the moment. Kate appeared at the same moment, so that makes her a suspect, especially since she claims she saw Nicole running away with Sydney in the dark. As to how Anna would have stumbled upon Nicole, she could have come to Salem for the holidays and was headed to DiMansion to see EJ, saw Nicole racing from the scene, knew that Nicole wasn't the mommy, called Roman, and followed. It's plausible that her daughter Carrie would have filled her in on the details. After all, Sami emailed her twin brother Eric about the whole mess when they were initially searching for Nicole. (Sami wanted Eric to call his ex-girlfriend Nicole and beg her to turn herself in.) I can just imagine Eric forwarding the email to his big sister Carrie, who in turn updated her mother. Regardless, the return of Anna Fredericks Brady DiMera DiMera DiMera is a GREAT thing. Well, after this past Friday's episode - with Sami dreaming of Sydney, alone - I don't think she's the culprit. Given, the rationale could just be that Sami "missed" Sydney, but I don't think so.
And you're right - why would Anna help EJ, really? Unless EJ had somehow convinced her that he'd turned on Stefano for good, EJ still had involvement in Tony's death, right? Isn't it too little, too late now for EJ to redeem himself with her?
Kate and Anna's last scenes weren't really serious, though. They annoy each other yes, but it's not a feud by any means. At least not like with Sami/Kate or Vivian/Kate - those characters hate each other for good reason/past story lines. I think it's very plausible Kate would hit her up for some help, particularly in this situation. As Kenny pointed out, Kate hates Sami and Nicole - also, she isn't really on good terms with EJ and was forced into a marriage with Stefano - while she 'seems' to care about him, he still tried to kill her son, and I'm sorry, she doesn't seem to stop him from drinking or eating bad food, Lol.
Then again....Lauren did say that Kate and Stefano would celebrate being 'partners in crime' this Christmas. Was the crime she was referring to the kidnapping?! Or in general?

I don't think she ever blamed EJ and, like Tony, she wanted him to turn away from Stefano so Anna and EJ being involved, especially given EJ's current relationship with his father, would make alot of sense.

I am certain Anna is working with EJ. JS has been the only cast member interviewed about the plot twist linked to Sydney. JS was talking about a storyline for himself when he said how brilliant it was and that he's been pushing for it for a long time. JS has always wanted EJ to be the clever puppet master ahead of everyone and not a twit. EJ was dumbed down to ensure he would buy all of Nicole's fake pregnancy lies etc . In my opionion JS was gushing over the brilliance of the twist story because he is going to be the main character at the heart of it....you mark my words!
No other actor interviewed even during the day of days mentioned it.....only JS is excited.    :iloveyou:
A return of the Dark Prince? Maybe he'll remind Sami of who she is and it's not Carrie!

I think all EJ had to do to convince Anna to help was tell him how he helped Nicole keep her deception. Tony loved EJ and wanted him to break away from father but Tony also realized that EJ maybe was not ready to do that.
Anna also blamed Steffy for Tony's death and thinks he's poison, so EJ would just say that hes breaking away and taking his daughter and he can trust anyone with his daughter but her.

They had disagreements but there was never the kind of malice between them that was between Tony and Stefano. Anna knew that EJ was just another victim of Stefano's too. That is why she was always right there agreeing with Tony when he tried to convince EJ to break away from Stefano. Anna was enraged at Stefano when she left. I think she would've went after or mentioned EJ too if she felt he was to blame in any way.

It fits together very nicely and it also brings one aspect of the baby switch back into play and that is Tony's involvement prior to his death.
