I also love Hope being in detective mode. This is Hope to me. Yes, she is a heroine too but she's always been this way in my view. It reminds me a bit of when Hope learned of Belle and Shawn's affair only she was taking action for her son. Here, she is taking action for her husband and daughter but also for selfish reasons because Bo is once again taking control of everything in a way she doesn't like.
I love it too, and even further, the fact she's living in Victor's house - I'm liking Hope turning to the 'dark side' (haha!) in order to get revenge. I want Hope to turn into a major, sleuthy and canniving bitch - not this princess bitch stuff she's been touting lately, which is just annoying. I mean all out, conspiring with Victor and Vivian. It seems like they're having Vivian and Hope cross paths, with the scenes they had a couple weeks ago and her comments about Hope having money, but bad taste, lol. I hope this won't be ignored.

This Bo/Hope/Carly story is driving me up a fucking wall. I hate how all three of them are being written as such ridiculous idiots to facilitate drama. It's so contrived I just want to scream.

For starters, it annoys me how Carly says she isn't interested in Bo and she wants him to reconcile with Hope yet she keeps running back to him at the most inopportune times and bringing up their past together. Like today when she mentioned that it was the anniversary of their wedding. Um.... that's probably not the best idea considering the current situation with him and Hope. Jesus Christ. And what's with the back-and-forth of her living situation? One minute she tells Bo she can't burden him and she wants to leave, then she wants to stay, then she wants to leave again, then she wants to stay for good. Make up your fucking mind!

Then there's Bo's idiocy. For one thing, how stupid is he for continuing to keep Hope in the dark about Carly's "super-huge" secret even thought her secret isn't that huge to begin with? Does this dumbass even have a brain? You don't tell your wife that your ex is sharing colossally huge secrets with you and not expect curiosity to kill the cat. Why doesn't he take Carly's advice and just tell Hope the truth? Why is he more protective of Carly's secret than she herself is?! So stupid. It also annoys me how he says he wants to work things out with Hope but then he goes on to tell her that he's going to continue putting Carly first and he's not going to abandon her and he wants to be her knight-in-shining-armor, etc. Blah, blah, blah. For a guy who claims he wants a reconciliation more than anything else, he certainly has a rude "fuck you" way of saying things to his wife. (Sort of like Rafe with that whole "your dead baby is alive!" thing. The characters are made to say things in such stupid, purposely confusing ways just to prolong the drama. BUGS THE SHIT OUT OF ME.)

Then we've got Hope's stupid ass. What a brainless bitch she is. She claims that she can't go back home with Ciara because she refuses to put her daughter in harm's way, yet for some reason she's perfectly content with Ciara living under Victor's roof? SERIOUSLY? Why couldn't she live with Mickey and Maggie? Or Alice? It doesn't make sense. She has no right to tell Bo that Carly is too dangerous to help when she's letting their daughter live under the roof of a murdering criminal. I mean, if she has such a problem with Carly being back in Bo's life, why doesn't she just go back home, kick Carly out and take ownership of her house again? I'm sick of watching her piss and moan and bitch and whine every single day without doing a single thing to change the situation. Figuring out Carly's secret won't do a damn thing to fix Hope's marriage. In fact, it will probably lead to Hope slipping up and then she'll get all the blame when something terrible happens to Mia/Melanie. She'll be the idiotically-written asshole of this story from start to finish. I'm sure of it.

I'm ready for this story to move on the Phase 2 because everyone involved is annoying the piss out of me right now.
Well, when you put it that way... it's hard to disagree. You're right, everything in this story is contrived, and frankly, they all look like hypocrites.

Carly pissed me off today when she came running back to Bo's house, and Hope's princess attitude is fucking annoying. And I agree, WHY CAN'T BO JUST TELL HOPE? It's not even that huge of a secret. Hope knows Vivian is bad ass, and I don't think she would tell her, especially if it would endanger Mia or Melanie.

I'm not really on the Bo and Carly train either. While it doesn't seem as contrived as Billie, they still seem very plot driven. The flashbacks just bring the LOLs. I know most of you don't like Dan - I don't like him either, but I suspect he'll have good chemistry with Carly!

I understand that Nicole was holding what could've been used as a deadly weapon against Rafe, but I don't like the way he manhandled her today. I hope that's not swept under the rug either. I'd love it if Brady went back and told Sami how Rafe handled Nicole, furhter placing doubt in her mind that maybe Rafe could've been abusive towards Emily and Meredith was right all along. You know EJ would plant those seeds in her head, given the chance. Rafe is too squeaky clean right now. Giving him a temper like this would be a great thing since they already have things set up with Meredith's claims. Rafe and Sami are going to need something after the Sydney drama is over.

I said it already, but it needs to be repeated. Valerie Wildman needs to be given a damn contract. Move Fay back to Salem when Arianne Zucker returns from her maternity leave. She was great today in those scenes with Roman and EJ. And she and Roman do look quite nice together, I'll add.

I love how they used the same Salem docks set for the Cleveland set. At least they added that wall and door, which looks like the the wall and door they use when we have scenes in the Kiriakis backyard, to throw things off a little bit.

I'm still loving Bo and Carly's scenes. The flashbacks were nice as they both realized it was the anniversary.

I love that Vivian is moving back into the Kiriakis mansion and that she and Victor are going to pretend to be a couple. Wait until Philip and Kate find out!

I can see why people would feel as such but I, personally, don't see how Rafe man handled Nicole. He grabbed her, took the weapon, and held on to her tightly and got in her face. Even if you feel that is the case, how is that any worse then EJ grabbing her by the throat several times? It's not like Rafe grabbed her by the back of her hair or was getting menacing with her. I was worried about the scenes initially when we read about them in the spoilers but they came off in no way bad from Rafe's end.

Yea, I was waiting to go off on Rafe for getting physical with Nicole, but it really wasn't anything bad. Just annoying. I am more pissed off that Rafe's only line the entire episode was "tell me where is Sydney". Hearing that 20 times today was more abusive than anything he did to Nicole. LOL!

LOL.

I actually thought the ending was bad. It was awkward. You had Brady racing in there and acting like Rafe was choking her. As soon as he raced over, Rafe just let her go into Brady's arms. It was all a big fat nothing as far as Rafe is concerned.

I like Rafe and Safe as a couple but even I find myself getting annoyed with all the Rafe praise (it reminds me of the John Black praise I used to hate LOL). I, too, would like them to bring up Rafe's faults and his past is the perfect vehicle and I do think they will go back to that at some point but there was nothing in that scene with Nicole that made Rafe look bad.

he put her in a restraint hold to stop her from running after she came at him with a pair of scissors, and then grabbed her by the collar of the parka... any attack, that can actually be called an attack, was verbal. And he didn't say, "I'll kill you!" but his words were brutish. And Sami would probably applaud, when she finds out that Nicole escaped she gets worried that they'll never find her/their daughter (meaning Sami & EJ's). If it wasn't for Rafe's brutishness, Nicole might have gotten away. The man is no monster, but he's also no angel...

IDK if something more happens today but Rafe was a gentleman when he handled Nicole. I saw no inkling of a man with an abusive past or control issues or temper.

Yea, I didn't see anything wrong with what Rafe did either. I was rooting for Nicole to come out on top, but she tried to stab him, and all he did was restrain her.

DrewH, I agree about Faye. They need to bring her back for good. With the lack of girls in that age group, they'd might as well recast Taylor too, and bring back Brandon. Brandon and Ari could be good, and try Lucas with Taylor.

Much prefers sweevil, snarky EJ over Father Figure Fucktard Eejiot.

I watched the show this morning and I have to agree - I didn't feel like Rafe was overly brutish with Nicole. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to see a bit of spark from the guy. That's the most passion I've seen from Rafe...ever. Ari Z does have that affect on her acting partners so who knows?

Racole, anyone?

Fay calling Sami a bitch may have just made my year.

Out of all his various personalities, I think Self-Righteous Self-Pitying E.J. is my least favorite yet.

I love the chemistry between Carly and Justin. Bring back Adrienne and you could have a potentially awesome triangle on your hands.

Wow...they mentioned Jennifer and Frankie in the Carly/Justin scenes. Kudos there.

I also liked Fay calling Sami a bitch and the way Sami brought up what Paul did to Nicole. Whoever wrote today's script is awesome LOL. Must be Richard Culliton or David Sherrill.

I love Carly and Justin too but I adore Carly and Bo. They have a good quad here and bringing back Adrienne would only make it better.

Wow...so I was wrong. John Newman wrote the episode. I guess he can churn a good one out once in awhile.

Very solid episode. Loved the scenes at Bo and Hope's house. All the tension was great and I like that Hope was upset with Ciara for being rude to Carly. The Bo, Hope, and Ciara scenes were great. So realistic and how sad was it when Ciara asked what house Santa would bring her gifts to? I loved the mentioning again of Bo and Hope's issues. It's been a wrong time since I saw a story like this where we saw a marriage fall apart in such an internal, unforced manner. Kudos to Days on this.

I loved the Carly and Justin scenes. Loved the mentions of Jennifer, Nicholas, and Frankie too. I also loved Carly mentioning Justin's grin. I swear, TPTB must read the boards because people are always pointing out Justin's grin LOL.

Will and Mia were cute. Taylor and Dylan had that cute chemistry working again for the first time since Spring. Dylan seemed comfortable too and Taylor was back in form too. Too bad its too late for Dylan. How sad. Enjoyed the scenes nonetheless. Also liked seeing Lucas and seeing him apologize to Mia.

The Sydney stuff was intense. Eric Martsolf and Arianne Zucker were amazing. I loved the scenes with them at the bus station and loved Nicole facing everyone at the hospital. There was so much intensity there. Ali played the scenes well too. And I still think EJ has something to do with this. They keep cutting to him looking all suspicious. Maybe it's just me wanting him involved so bad that I keep seeing what I want to see LOL. Nice cliffhanger too with the "woman" walking with Sydney.

As I mentioned, LOVED Sami bringing up what Paul did to Nicole and Fay calling Sami a bitch. Days needs to bring the Walker's back. As was mentioned previously, bring Brandon and recast Taylor and keep Fay. You can play Fay with Roman, Taylor with Lucas, and Brandon and Arianna could be hot as well. Wildman has been very good in her scenes.

My favorite scenes were Stefano and Kate. Joe Mascolo knocked it out of the park. He fell in love with that little girl and seeing scenes like that help because you can understand why he did so much of what he did. He lost Tony and has lost so much. I love how they've humanized but he's still Stefano. I also hope they continue having him and Kate play chess. That used to be such a trademark of his character. You can see the wheels turning in his brain when he does that. They've had him playing chess with her before but the way they scripted the scenes today around that game was so well-done. Kate and Stefano marrying was the decision of the year. He has a sounding board now. I think it's safe to say, though, he had nothing to do with the kidnapping. I can't see it after today but I do believe the show will keep building him up to be responsible. Loved Lauren today too. You could tell when Joe started crying that she got emotional. I saw tears in her eyes as well.

After all... tomorrow is another day!

"Let me do my job!" Bwah! What job is that? I thought you were supposed to be a construction worker. Well I guess the economy's rough so I could see how he could have changed careers to get into the badgering Nicole business, but I bet it doesn't pay very well. And Nicole's random fainting spell was kind of weird. Are Rafe's out-of-nowhere concussions contagious? Anyway... today was very  Bricole  It was nice having the Brady-Nicole scenes after being subjected to Rafe asking Nicole where the baby was and her saying she didn't know, over and over and over yesterday. Brady still is head over heels for this girl even in that awful wig. Time to move on, Arianna. This man's taken! And we better a Bricole miracle baby out of this story dammit.

Oh look, Sami's back from wherever the hell she was in the last episode. Doesn't look like she got any souvenirs from the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Maybe she took in a Cavs game? I kind of enjoyed Faye calling her a bitch though. We don't see that very often these days and what ex-mother-in-law of Sami doesn't think she's a bitch, really? Anyway, loved EJ defending her to the hilt of course too. Her comment about wanting EJ to never keep anything from her was interesting. I wonder if it was just her being upset about them having not told her about Nicole being missing or something else. And their banter about Sami not caring about him really was good too. For me, JS and AS still have *it*. Whatever happens with Safe/Ejami or however the Sydnapping saga unfolds I hope we get some good old EJami banter out of this as the story unfolds. It seems like we're supposed to think maybe EJ is up to something with the babyswitch with that call he had today, but I wonder if that's what's going on or they'll tie the call back to his big secret druglord life? Hmmm.

Hope, I know you're pissed that Carly is there and Bo was stupid for not wrapping up his convo with Carly after he texted them to come over, but you're really going to punish your child and deprive her the chance to have her parents decorate the tree with her? Get it together for Christmas, bitch! Bo is right. Christmas means your anniversary, your birthday, and Zack's death so you should be back together if just for that day! I really don't want to know what metaphor Hope was going for with that whole, it's old and dried up and lost its magic, thing. Poor Bo. :'(

So Nicholas is still alive eh? Well, guess they can bring him back later on if need be so that's good. Damn, Carly went OFF. And so did Justin. I like it. Maybe Carly and Justin do have a little bit of chem after all. I was beginning to think WK was a bit of a chem vacuum.

Kate and Stefano playing chess together is ADORABLE. I love how Kate is the only one he can be vulnerable with. I loved Stefano's impassioned speech about how he doesn't want this little girl to be a pawn any more. Somehow, as ridiculous as this should sound coming from Stefano, Joe Mascolo can just sell it for me. I wonder if they are going to set up some kind of custody battle for Sydney with Stefano vs. Sami/EJ after whatever time that she is found.

Will and Mia's scene was cute, but knowing Dylan Patton is gone soon really takes away whatever investment I would naturally be drawn to have in this. Guess they needed to bust Lucas out of rehab early so he could babysit?

First, can we please keep Fay? She might've grown a backbone too late to help her kids, but her going off on Sami was great.

Justin and Carly's scene showed more sparks than jope, and could even rival barly. I had to laugh when Carly called Justin out on smirking and told him to come out and say what he felt.

Lucas' scene was short, but I enjoyed it. That has to be a sign of the Apocalypse.

EJ going Dimera on Fay and Kefano were great.

IMA, I wondered if Sami was alluding to the way Rafe kept her in the dark about Nicole/Sydney/Grace etc. Probably not though.

Can you imagine the holiday meals if Roman & Fay were to get married? Sami, Rafe, Nicole, Brandon, EJ (if he and Nicole were to ever get back together)... lol It could rival the old GH Quartermaine food fights.

Alluding to, to me she was plainly saying it, and not keeping her in the dark about Sydney/Nicole/&Grace it was not telling her that Nicole escaped. I read the scene as this Sami knows her father and Rafe are protecting her from being overcomed by false leads and things that will upset her, and though I think she loves feeling protected, it sometimes gets on her nerves. This is her daughter and she wants to know everything.

Okay, to have said that, let me say this.... :shame: I feel so ashamed of myself, I actually felt for Stefano. I came out with the attitude today that I hope they don't make it where he never sees his grandbaby again. After all Stefano has done, and I feel sorry for him.... :wtf:
