Maybe you should watch how this all plays out on-screen before saying it doesn't make any sense.
Um... you're just as guilty as the rest of us for judging things before they play out based on spoilers.
Not really.

Also, I thought the kidnapper is revealed next Friday. SOD has it listed as this Friday. Hmm...
Maybe SOD screwed up and leaked this earlier than they were supposed to.
If that is the case, Days won't be happy. That Twitter pic already probably has them wanting everyone off Twitter LOL.

Days has a good relationship with SOD and always spills on twists and casting decisions to them so I would bet since Digest is claiming the exclusive here, that Days let them print this. The fact that it's coming out now makes me think we learn Anna is the kidnapper Friday. They probably figured Canadians find out tomorrow and it will be posted on all the day ahead sites so they may as well break the news. They kept it a secret right up until the end.
Well, I was personally hoping they'd keep it quiet for longer.

And, yes the Canadians with the day aheads would probably SPILL all the details of the twist.

BUT Phoenix, I'm not sure if you were watching Passions (or watched at all), when it was revealled that Charlie was actually Alistair. In the Canadian version (the day ahead), it showed Charlie going to a different direction, and the show ended - with showing what will happen next time on Passions with NO mention of Charlie being Alistair. I watched the episode again on NBC the following day, and it showed Charlie boarding a plane, and all of a sudden a mechanical trademark laughter of Alistair's asking his latest assistant for a drink, and the mask in his hand.

I would have loved for Days to keep it under wraps longer, and not include it with the Day Ahead episode so it's a shock when it does finally air on NBC. JMO though.
I was and I do recall that.

I do think they should get read of Canada getting the day ahead altogether. Why should one place be further ahead then the other? I fail to see the logic in that. The show could definitely keep more secrets that way.

I do wish Days had kept it a secret right until the end but, for all we know, word leaked somehow so they just decided to officially let it out of the bag. Maybe it was that Twitter picture. Who knows.

For what it's worth, after thinking about it, I'm starting to think she could be working with someone. Anna may not want to risk going down for this. She was always worried about looking out for herself. I mean, I can buy her going off the rails and only caring about revenge but I also can buy her working with EJ to get this done. Hell, OBK's point about Nicole is a good one too. The only thing I wonder is why would Nicole bash herself over the head and how would she know where Anna even was unless Anna reached out to her because she knew what it was like to be threatened by the Dimera's. There is so much of interest here.

Here's my take on the "does it make sense" question- I'm willing to assume that if they've gone to such lengths to keep this part of Sami's baby bullshit a secret, they'll have put equal energy into crafting a story that's logical. Or at least as logical as I expect from a soap.

So in this rare instance...I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll come up with something that doesn't suck. Which I admit is kinda weird, since I've found this whole storyline obnoxiously long and irritating, and I have this creeping fear that we'll have to see Luis take down Anna. I seriously hope Sami never gets this kid back.

As for that Prevuze thing...maybe Anna's playing him. Or maybe the writers went overboard with a red herring again, like they did with the Mia/Carly stuff.
I think itīs the red herring thing. In last episode EJ made practically the same cryptic call. And today we suddenly discover EJ is owner of the mansion and Stefano has some kind of plan to get it back. My quess is his mysterious call was about the strike against EJ, not about Sydney. It certainly gets very interesting.

Oh please. You mean to tell me you've never posted about how boring the show sounds based on the weekly spoilers and whatnot? I know for a fact that you have because I've seen it with my own eyes. When it comes to pre-judging things before they actually air, you're just as guilty as the rest of us for doing it.

Either way, your holier-than-thou attitude and your rude comments to other posters are uncalled for.

The whole point of a "preview" is to get us excited and talking about the show so people will tune in. Of course we're going to discuss the spoilers and whether or not they sound logical or exciting. That's what this board is for.
This was just a small article with very little information. How can anyone say it doesn't make sense for Anna to be the kidnapper when they don't know anything about it? It would be different if it was a detailed spoiler.

But now with this new rumor about Anna working with Stefano, yeah that sounds more stupid.

Yes that is something I was thinking about. TPTB should tell the actors they can only use twitter for personal stuff, and not take photos at the set and stuff like that.

Well... that's his or her prerogative. It's called an opinion. They're entitled to speak their mind (whether or not you agree with them) without your unnecessarily rude comments tossed back at them.

Weekly spoilers are different. They are more detailed. This article only said Anna is the kidnapper. We still don't know how or why she did it.

This all goes back to spoilers doing more damage to the show.

I agree and we even had Stefano mentioning to Kate Tuesday and in today's episode that he would make Nicole, Sami, and EJ pay for trying to keep Sydney away from him and he mentions today how he will do whatever it takes to keep her in his life. I think they want us to think Stefano is involved, for sure. Even reading the magazine articles for next week, they build it up to still be Nicole or Stefano right up until the reveal on Friday. Rafe then finally believes Nicole and Stefano is given truth serum and admits he had nothing to do with it.

That doesn't matter.

I think you're failing to see my point.

Whether the spoilers are detailed or not, we all have the right to express our opinion(s). That's why this board is here. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't mean you have the right to shoot off rude, unnecessarily sarcastic posts to them. Just try and be a little more respectful. That's all.

OMG, settle down people! I fucking had an opinion based on a tiny blurb that wasn't detailed enough to make any sort of sense to me, and I was posting as I was thinking it through ... no need to get into a brawl over it. I said *what little we now know* didn't make any sense to me, and that I was looking forward to, or at least interested in, how they were going to explain it. I don't need to wait until it plays out to think that a spoiler or an idea for a story doesn't make sense. Once the story plays out, I will comment on how that happens. No one needs to tell me shit about what I can or cannot think or post, thank you very much. That's what these boards are for, aren't they? I still don't think it makes much sense for Anna to randomly show up now to get revenge on Stefano and/or EJ by taking Syd, and I don't think that Anna would "not give a shit" about Sami enough to be willing to steal her baby and put her through hell ... but then again, this show makes characters do shit that doesn't make any sense all the time, so wtf ever.
It is perfectly ok for me to think it doesn't make any sense, and for someone else to think it does. What I would appreciate is being replied to more like, "I disagree, I think it makes perfect sense, and this is why ..." instead of basically telling me to STFU and watch it before expressing an opinion.

Ok, done.

Speaking of Twitter, people are asking why we are tweeting spoilers. I've been doing it all along, why is it suddenly "not allowed?"

I see it like this.

You run a spoiler site. We run a spoiler board. People who follow us on Twitter have got to expect that we'll, y'know... tweet spoilers. Why follow us if you want to remain spoiler-free?

I think Sindacco and Phoenix are talking about the actors tweeting spoiler-ish stuff from the set though. Not us.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think people were talking about the actors. I know I was because Casey's Twitter pic looks like it's related to this.

Twitter is a great way to promote the show via the actors but I think Days needs to get on them about being more careful. Sure, we couldn't make out much in Casey's pic but I can already foresee an issue down the road LOL.

I think they meant the actors, not you. I do think it's different when the actors tweet stuff from the set. They've never really been supposed to give us spoilers before, and we're getting stuff from them constantly now.

Exactly. And I fully expect both (all) of you to continue please, lol. I do think the actors need to reign it in, though and not just as it pertains to spoilers...but that's another issue.

I'm trying to think back, though - and has anything ever really been divulged from the actors that tweet pictures or send out updates?

The only thing I can think of is when that random extra dude at Grace's funeral tweeted something about it and we were all off to the races getting that one figured out.

But as much as Alison Sweeney, Molly Burnett, Casey, etc. tweet I can't really think of anything they've given us that is flat out spoilerish. But it definitely keeps us talking/guessing/arguing/discussing. And that's probably the intent behind doing it.

I really don't see what the big deal is. Yes everyone have the right to express their opinion and I have the right to respond to it, that's what message boards are for. If anyone is being rude it's you attacking me. But this goes back to some old thread, and ever since then you have been looking for ways to bash me whenever I post something you don't like.

They do throw out vague references to things. CC did it long before her return. However, in recent months, the cast has begun to post pics, most notably Molly and Casey. That pic Casey posted of the set seems like it's connected to this so that is why it's becoming an issue. As I said, it may not have shown much but the next time someone does something like that they may take a pic that does show something. The show needs to issue a mandate telling those on Twitter to keep it vague and to promote without giving anything away or posting pics that could ruin something like this.
