Speaking of Twitter, people are asking why we are tweeting spoilers. I've been doing it all along, why is it suddenly "not allowed?"
I think they meant the actors, not you. I do think it's different when the actors tweet stuff from the set. They've never really been supposed to give us spoilers before, and we're getting stuff from them constantly now.
I'm trying to think back, though - and has anything ever really been divulged from the actors that tweet pictures or send out updates?

The only thing I can think of is when that random extra dude at Grace's funeral tweeted something about it and we were all off to the races getting that one figured out.

But as much as Alison Sweeney, Molly Burnett, Casey, etc. tweet I can't really think of anything they've given us that is flat out spoilerish. But it definitely keeps us talking/guessing/arguing/discussing. And that's probably the intent behind doing it.
We know who they have scenes with and a lot of times whatever they say we can put with something else and kind of know what they're filming because of who's involved. That happened a lot this summer especially with the first reveal.

I love the spoiler tweets...from sources I trust!

I'm looking at you Kitty :)

And I would imagine Molly, Ali and Casey are careful what they give away in tweets. I actually thought maybe the blonde on the side of the set picture of the "kidnapper's house" was AS. Seems it is LH.

Of course I'm going to tweet spoilers - what, were they expecting horoscopes? LOL

I don't think the actors should be allowed to post spoiler pics like some of them have, that's all.

I really don't see what the big deal is. Yes everyone have the right to express their opinion and I have the right to respond to it, that's what message boards are for. If anyone is being rude it's you attacking me. But this goes back to some old thread, and ever since then you have been looking for ways to bash me whenever I post something you don't like.
Please go back and re-read your post...

Maybe you should watch how this all plays out on-screen before saying it doesn't make any sense.
Telling someone that they should refrain from expressing their opinion (for any reason) is very rude. I'm not sure why you don't understand that.

Regardless, let's end this here. I'm done talking in circles.

Well, the twitter photo wasnīt from Casey (he just retweeted it), but some hairdresser. And Iīm happy he did it because I love behind the scenes photos and they are very rare. I quess it was a mistake because I donīt think on set photos has ever been allowed. Fortunatelly, he just made us quess and didnīt reveal anything substantial. I donīt think anyone else ever tweted anything what could be called spoiler.

Not yet but that picture is a sign that things could be advancing to the point where there could be a problem.

I didn't realize Casey didn't originally tweet that. I still think the actors need to be warned once more, just in case. And definitely warn the hairdresser and other crew members LOL. I didn't even realize there was other Days crew members on Twitter other then the promo person.

I also had this brainstorm. I think they should keep Anna around beyond this and give her something with Lucas. They could be funny. It would allow Bryan to show his comedic side and it would so ironic given Lucas had a relationship with Carrie and once worked for Tony.

I still don't think it makes much sense for Anna to randomly show up now to get revenge on Stefano and/or EJ by taking Syd, and I don't think that Anna would "not give a shit" about Sami enough to be willing to steal her baby and put her through hell.
agree. let's even throw sami and her feelings out the window entirely. what about roman? as far as i know, roman and anna are on good terms, but now she's come back to kidnap his grandchild just to get revenge on stefano? couldn't anna come up with a way to get revenge on the dimeras without dragging a child that is half-brady into it? perhaps the show will surprise me and come up with some good reason for all of this, i don't know. at this point, i have to agree with the poster that called this whole thing a casting stunt. IMO, too many people that plain don't belong in this storyline have been dragged into it over the past year. adding one more doesn't help things for me. it just makes it all more convoluted and nonsensical than it already is.

I just watched the clip of tomorrow's episode ending and now I see why SOD posted the date of December 11th. I think tomorrow is the first time LeAnn Hunley aired. You can hear her voice at the end of the episode and in the preview for Monday. I think she tried to disguise her voice by lowering it but you can still it's her, at least I can.

Wow, DAYS managed to keep a secret? I'm shocked!

I can't wait to find out why Anna took Sydney. This just caught me excited about this storyline again.

You can clearly tell it's Leann Hunley's voice.

Which is why they probably came out with the story now and didn't keep it a secret another week. They probably figured many people would figure out hearing that voice.

Prevuze makes it sound like Stefano and the "mystery woman" are working together in tomorrow's episode.

Color me confused.
Maybe I wasn't awake when reading it, but the way Prevuze read made me think Stefano is NOT working with the mystery woman. If Stefano was involved I think he would tell Kate and I think he was hurt that Kate thought he did this.

I actually for the first time, now that we know Anna is involved, am leaning more toward the EJ is involved speculation.

After today's scenes, I can't believe Stefano was involved. He had a breakdown over worrying about Sydney. The show will keep it going all week that he could be involved but I'm sure now he isn't. Besides, one of the primary motivators has to be her wanting revenge on Stefano.

EJ talks alot tomorrow about going after Stefano. There is a simmering war between them and Corday has stressed both in the Fall Previews and in November Sweeps previews that EJ got lied to three times. JS seemed so excited and he always gets that way when EJ does something dark. He hated EJ being made to be a fool. I think he's involved in this with Anna. I don't think Anna would want to go at this alone. She would want to protect herself and with EJ in her corner, she knows she can. EJ probably could've easily found her too and knew she would be game to do this because she would want to pay back Stefano.

EJ and Anna always seemed to like each other too and she and Tony always encouraged him to break from Stefano. They had a few scenes together. I still remember how uncomfortable she was with the twins back then. How ironic LOL.

I think it's too late for that now, though. Twitter has become an essential part of PR, and with soaps already not "changing with the times", they need as much of a boost as they can get. Further, I think Twitter is one of the few platforms thats keeping the show connected to a younger demo. Maybe they can't watch the show, but they're still in the loop with exposure to the brand.

It's hard to keep a lid on things with twitter, but at the same time, I think DAYS would be so stupid to let go of the marketing/PR leverage this gives them.

I can't think of anything either. Casey said we would find out who his father was (after we already knew his last name was changed) and little stuff like that, but nothing has been totally spoiled. Most of the pictures they have shown are just them goofing around, sitting in the dressing room, etc. I don't think they have done anything wrong.

I think there have been some close calls, like when Ali tweeted that picture of that day's script. BUT, I think the benefits far outweigh the negatives. I would hope that the show wouldn't create a 'Twitter policy' or anything like that.

I wouldn't want them to forbid it because, as cassie said, it's a good way to promote the show. However, there have already been close calls. The picture the hairdresser posted that Casey tweeted is one. You mentioned the casting call one. I think it's something you nip in the bud before something does happen. So far, all the stars so is reference things like "Shooting great stuff today with Louise Sorel" or provide pictures of what the set looks like with Christmastime in Salem or them all hanging out on set or things like that. It's fine to keep it to those kind of things but there needs to be a warning because you run the risk of someone slipping up at some point.

Perhaps, I'm just tired of the show trying to pander to young viewers all the time.
