You are so right....gossipy girl, or someone's grandma. Adults listen to their friends, let them vent, ask questions like "Have you talked? Have you tried counseling?" But sheesh, trying to keep someone from getting a job??? Get a freaking life, Justin! Obviously Justin wants Hope. Obviously, Carly has good memories of the best relationship she ever had. I hope the writers allow Carly to let the audience in on why Carly chose to leave Bo and go with a jerk like Lawrence. We, the audience, knew the storyline was then dictated by the behind the scenes soap that was happening with actors, but now they need some explanations from the character. As for wanting Bope together? Only if we see a change in Hope. She's been treating Bo badly since she returned from the dead....her boohoo hurt that the man moved on; the punishment she dished out every time a new man (Franco, Patrick) came to town and Bo was suspicious of their motives. It always ended up Hope blaming Bo for her stupidity. Throwing temper tantrums; blaming him. But when Bo found out he and Billie's child was alive, that did me in. Regardless of what the kid was going to be, Hope insisting that Bo choose between his children is so wrong. In this world of blended families, (onscreen and real life) when one parent pits her kids vs the other kids, it's just turns me off. I am guessing when Hope finds out Carly's secret, she will (wrongly) assume the kid is Bo's and play her martyr game again. I am so ready for Bo to say "Not going there again, no way, now how" and he moves on. Fifteen years of Hope's tantrums is enough. |

SO SO disagree......respectfully. Bo and Carly ooze chemisty. Wow. Unbelievable. CC also has some chemistry with Daniel. None with Justin. But Bo and Carly are unreal they are so sizzling. Bo and Hope continue to have chemistry. I'm just so sick of whiny, blathering, "me, me, me, it's all about me" Hope. |

I do agree with most of your post but mainly I want to see a lot of self reflection (if the writers and KA can pull it off) on Hope's part. I would be tickled if they brought into the story something about aging issues for Hope and if she thinks Bo sees her more than as a Fancy Face. Justin could even say things like "how can Bo do that to you, such a beautiful woman" and I wouldn't mind if she felt a momentary weakness. I really would like to see at least one marriage on this show stay intact. Also, I tend to root for the guy to get the girl more than anything and Bo LOVES Hope, you can see it in his eyes. Barly might have chemistry but right now it's not being returned by Bo. I want better for Carly. I hope they don't tie her down right away romantically especially with the likes of Justin and Dan. My interest is piqued in something with Nathan, I think Carly might bring out a sexiness in Nathan thats just bubbling below the surface and I'd might be ok for Carly to be romantically linked with Phillip especially since Mel might turn out to be her dtr. |

I really don't think they need to rush Carly into any romances right now ecspecially with everything that happened with Lawrence.Plus I'm more interested in her missing daughter and vivs revenge plot than I'am a triangle with Bope.I do think Carly has a hero worship for Bo.I'm not sure if its because he was probaly the most stablest realtionship she had or if she was so used to Lawrences violence that she wasn't used to anybody being nice to her. Speaking of Lawrence and Carly.I know some never bought her going off with him.But even from the beginning. She hated him way too passionatly.I hope that makes sense. It was kinda like EJ and Sami.A love/hate realtionship.I remeber the one stormy night episode where Lawrence got to her and she ran to Bo and had sex with him.Anyways even before the buried alive story I think they was setting Carly and Lawrence to get back together. Now granted the recast Bo didn't help things.I think Carly couldn't help herself where Lawrence was concerned.I think it got harder for her to hate him when she found out there son was alive ecspecially when she saw how good he was with Nikki.I hope this makes sense.Lawrence always had a violence streak but even now Carly seems to think of them as two differnt people. Before Lawrences illness she is acting like he was this great guy who never committed a crime and that after he got sick that is when he got violent.I mean even if he hadn't gotten sick.Does anyone really believe Lawrence would have been fine raising another mans child. |

I had read everyone's comments yesterday before I watched the show last night, and I was anticipating bad Ejami scenes, but then I saw them and I laughed my bootie off. They really were reminicent of the Scooby gang! LMAO! The other thing I noticed though was that EJ seemed really annoyed that Sami wanted to get it all done at once. That wasn't concern for her safety, that was, "oh fuck no, that's not my plan, I want you to come over every day ... so I can play on your concern, fear, and grief to get you back in my bed when I play hero and return Sydney ... " Mmm-hmm. Anyway, I watch the show with my mom, and she is unspoiled .. she saw my face when I read the kidnapper spoiler, but I have kept mum since then ... I asked her yesterday if she figured it out yet, and the voice finally gave it away, she guessed it. Which is good, because I wasn't sure if I could keep mum much longer, lol. |

I think Bo is fighting his feelings for Carly. They shared an amazing passion and love. Bo is the kind of man that would deny it because of the guilt. Bo does not like to hurt the people he loves. He does love Hope. Here are the problems: sometimes love is not enough. If it were real life, I might wish for Bo to tough it out no matter what. But it isn't. I would like to see passionate Bo again. Man, he and Carly had passion in spades, more than Bo and Hope ever had. Honestly, I don't know that Hope really loves Bo. I think she loves the way Bo worships her. I think she loves the way he romances her and gives in to her every little whim. I think she loves the Bo that does her bidding 24/7. Whenever Bo stands up for himself, she goes ballistic. She wanted to pit her kids with Bo against Billie's child with Bo. That, to me, is simply not love. As well, I think the supercouple notion has been overdone, good stories ignored because of fans and their idea that their "couple" must be happy and together. How many times can the victimized martyr scenario be played out. Marlena, Hope, Jennifer, Kayla all were overly victimized, dumbed down, for the supercouple formula. Carly was too after Peter left. I also think good stories with Ava, Kate, and Steve and John were killed because of the formula. I also think refusing to give Kayla a life outside of Steve all those years was simply stupid. The notion that a beautiful, smart single mom would not have had relationships all those years is insulting. I would rather good, interesting drama. I want to see Hope face her own demons; her petty jealousy; her instant willingness to blame Bo and support others against Bo. She had done this for years. I want to see Hope grow as a character and I don't think she will if they write the same old, same old. |

Thank you! I thought this from the very beginning - like, it's been 16 years and you're STILL mourning? All for the sake of the "magic" of Steve and Kayla, which was totally gone. It was very insulting. |

You'd think, at the very least, she would have had one relationship to TRY to forget. |

But, see, if they'd wanted Kayla still mourning, that could've been written better. Kayla could have developed into an overprotective mother, holding Stephanie under near lock and key, frightened that something else tragic might happen to take away her only child and last remaining link to Steve. Stephanie should've been a shelted, naive girl with a highly over protective mother. Stephanie as a racecar driver was the dumbest thing ever. And it didn't help that Steve/Kayla had NO reunion story to speak of whatsoever. It was all "oh? you're alive! Oh? you remember! Let's get married like you haven't been dead for nearly 20 years!" Just badly, badly written. |

Any chance we can convince someone to throw Sami through another window so she can spend the next several months in complete silence? |

I'm loving nosey-ass Vivian today. She's like some delicious hybrid mix of the evil Queen from Snow White and the Grinch who stole Christmas, LoL. |

Aww. I love that they're playing Christmas music over some of the scenes now. I love that. Kristian Alfonso looks gorgeous today. She should wear her hair back more often. |

We got a Marlena mention! I had forgotten that the scroll was actually real and not made up just to bring Carly and Bo closer. When I read the spoiler, I thought it was one of those made up things like JER used to do. Loved that flashback. |

She should. Between her hair and the white sweater, she looks great. Good description of Vivian too. Loving her and the Sami/Stefano scenes were very good. They had Stefano throwing out some stuff about Rafe and Sami that people around this board do. I also like how Stefano actually mentioned Sami as being behind the kidnapping. That is another theory being tossed around this board. |

I like how they had the camera linger on Sami during Stefano's accusations. I'm not sure Sami actually denied anything, either -- or if she did, she sure hesitated for a moment. I wonder if Sami's hooked up with Carrie, hence the Anna connection. Would Carrie help Sami protect Sidney from the DiMeras? Carrie's always gone out of her way for Sami's kids since she doesn't have any of her own. |
