When you can't even get less Sami when Ali is pregnant in real life, there is no hope of ever not seeing her in heavy story LOL. |

No, because she would still be onscreen. Unless we can ship her comatose ass off to that Swiss hospital, never to return--that would be fabulous. Looking forward to seeing how they handle Mickey's death and Maggie falling off the wagon. |

Ugh. Are you referring to "Stan the Man?" LoL. I remember a period in 2001 when Sami was barely used for about six months, but that's the only time in the last ten years I can recall her not being shoved down our throats on an everyday basis. |

Thank god they haven't given Sami a split-personality or evil (redundant?) look-alike storyline. Then there'd be twice as much of her! |

We still don't know for sure that she falls off the wagon. It'll probably happen, but the only thing we know for sure at this point is that Mickey dies and it generates story for Maggie. |

And if I recalled correctly, it was during those 6 months that it was all Salem High all the time. If your character was over the age of 17, you got a nice, long 6 month vacation. |

That and her latest maternity leave which wasn't even an actual leave LOL. She was off the canvas all of like a week or two  . However, the Stan stuff was made worse by the fact that we got the Iraq stuff, which was horribly offensive. |

Point. You know, if they actually wrote it in that Sami had split into 2 personalities -- Sami & Samantha, where one was normal crazy Sami and the other was Stepford-Sami, I could actually buy that. lol |

I do hope they've managed to get a lot of Hortons, though. They did a good job keeping one return secret. If they have kept multiple returns secret...I'll be majorly impressed. At this point, I'm not very optimistic. |

I think for that Mini-Maternity Leave, she simply squatted down in her dressing room and popped out the child and then reported to the set. Maybe it's something she learned from Sami. |

Yep. In November or December of that year, I remember SOD putting out one of their famous "Plan to Save Days" issues and it had Sami/Austin on the cover with Corday touting them as a "fan favorite couple who would finally be back on the frontburner in the new year," LoL. That just goes to show how bad those Salem High days were. When fans are clamoring for more of Sami and Austin, you know your show is creatively fucked. |

Yep. Victor, Nicole, Jack, Jennifer, and Greta were the only characters other then the teens who got airtime. It seemed like everyone else over the age of 25 dropped off the canvas from early July-late September. And Kenny is right. May-October 2001 was one of the only times Sami was not on the frontburner. The only other time was from March 1995-June 1995 when Ali went on a hiatus and then came back during the buildup to Carrie and Austin's weddings. Otherwise, she's been involved in heavy story her whole entire run. |

I don't want an accident involving one of Sami's children either! We don't need more of the hysterical crying and heavy breathing with that scruched up face any time soon. |

That article sickened me. That was the beginning of Corday acting like a damn hero, which culminated in Langan being fired and Corday pinning it all on him. The whole damn idea was Corday anyway. Sure, Langan wanted it too but throwing all the blame on Langan was unfair when Corday wanted it even more. |

I keep getting excited about this, then picturing Maggie falling apart, surrounded by Mia, Melanie and Nathan. Not that they're bad characters (except Mia), but they really need to bring back some some substantial long term support for her (besides Doug and Julie) for this story to break Days' usual pattern of building potential, then throwing it all away.
