After all... tomorrow is another day!

I like Curb but I wouldn't have included it.
I don't have any problem with Grey's not being included.
As much as I love Freaks and Geeks, it was only one season and a canceled one at that so only a handful of shows would have aired during this decade, so I would have left it off.
Then I would have included Desperate Housewives and Monk.

Out of curiousity, If you "can't stand" and "cringe" at Grey's then why do you watch it? You seem to know all about what they are and aren't LOL

As Mason said above, it's a Primetime Soap set in a hospital. It never was supposed to be a medical show like ER or House
I gave it a try a few times in season one. Once in awhile I tune in when I see a promo that interests me just to see how they do with it. I know what it is but I don't even feel it does a good job of that LOL. The only time I think it did anything of note was last season's cliffhanger with George and Izzie. That was good television.

I just think it deserves not to be on the list. It doesn't even do a good job of what it's supposed to do IMO.
Agreed. (except for the george/izzie cliffhanger, the whole "its not george, oh wait ... yeah it is" was retarded)

And in the early seasons when it was better, and every episode centered on some bizarre medical case, the creator definitely tried selling it hard as a medical show and said as much in the press. So it should be held to the same standard as other shows in that vein.

No it shouldn't. From Day One, Grey's has never been marketed as some kind of ER knock-off. It was always promoted as being about the characters and not the medical characters. I don't care what that twit Shonda Rhimes said; no show creator who wants their show to be respected is ever going to publicly call their show a soap (even when that's what it is) when there's such a stigma attached to the term.

The Shield is way too low and 30 Rock is way too high. Also. Alan Sepinwall's list of top 10 of the decade, broken down by genre, is much better.

I kind of like that he broke it up by genre, but that drama list is terrible. Veronica Mars, Battlestar Galactica, Friday Night Lights, and even Deadwood have no business being on that list while Six Feet Under is not.

Bitch!

Boston Legal; Damages; Big Love deserve Honorable Mentions.

And just because... America's Next Top Model.

I can kind of see why Damages would be left off the list. I'm a fan of the show, but it's just.. there's something lacking on the show that keeps it from going "good" to "great". I can't quite put my finger on it though. Cast is usually good, Season 1 was just "must see" through and through, season 2 was pretty good.. but there's something holding it back from being great. Maybe the new season will change my mind, but I understand why it's not on the list.

One reason why the main list sucks is that Family Guy is so far ahead of South Park. Family Guy is just horrible, while South Park (despite being over a decade old) still pumps out some really good, imaginative episodes. Family Guy's been the same shitty formula ever since it's been on.

I agree.

I think Family Guy should be on the list but not behind South Park. I mean, Family Guy did come back from cancellation...twice LOL. How many shows can say that? Plus, Family Guy basically was the link that along with The Simpson's gave FOX a dominant Sunday lineup.

South Park is in a league of it's own though.
