ATWT was EXCELLENT.
I cried all through it, LoL.

So cheese-tastic and hokey and unbelievable, but I loved every minute of it.
I thought you hated cheesy stuff like that?

It was very good. It's sad that the show has gotten so good when it seems like it's too late.

Sometimes. I think it depends on what kind of mood I'm in, LoL. The holidays make me sappy and emotional anyway, so I think that's why I liked it. The scenes with Brad's ghost saying goodbye to everyone were heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I loved his dance with Janet... his conversation at the bar with Jack... his last few moments with Katie. "We were supposed to have forever!" OMG.

But I digress... LoL

I forgot to add too that I thought Ali Sweeney looked GREAT today and I liked KA's hat at the beginning of the show.

I can't wait for tomorrow. It sounds like the stuff at the Kiriakis mansion is HYSTERICAL and we actually get a Tom flashback!

ATWT was indeed an EXCELLENT episode. The line where Katie said "I'll see you in my dreams", I almost lost it. Schlocky, yes, but then again I like a little schlock, both in my writing and in what I watch.

And Phoenix, you are right about Reilly. I think I've mentioned it before, but as much as I couldn't stand his plotting at times he did respect the show's history and even mentioned the Hortons repeatedly.

And Merry Christmas to all Days fans. :D

It seems as if the new regime is concentrating on the Kiriakises and Dimeras. I'm enjoying both of those families but it shouldn't come at the expense of the founding family of Days which is the Hortons.
I disagree. The Kiriakis's and the DiMeras didn't take the spotligt from the Hortons. They took it from the Bradys. The Hortons haven't been on the front for years.

Yesterday's show proved how utterly selfish and rootable Snore really is. I don't think I have ever seen a show more depressing or devoid of any happiness on DOOL. What a clunker.

Merry Christmas Everyone! May you have more joy in reading this greeting than I got in one wasted hour yesterday.

Arianna gave her dead grandpa's, excuse me... abuelo's :eyeroll: cufflinks to Brady for Christmas? Um why? Is it just because she's too broke to afford a present? Because I don't understand at all why a girl in an on-off relationship like the one that Brady and Ari have would give the guy she's with (sometimes) such a personal gift when she's totally insecure and flying off the handle constantly over his feelings for another girl. What is with this show's hard-on for such contrived warp speed intimacy just like with Philip in a rush to marry Mel one week (or less) after she finally breaks things off with Nathan and Rafe wanting to adopt Sami's kid after one date. I don't get it.

This was kind of stupid...she is so damn insecure constantly breaking things off, but she wants to give him a family heirloom? Really stupid on her part.

I agree with Matt on the lack of build up for couples...no longing looks, no daydreaming, first kisses, etc. Phillip and Mel, Brady and Arianna are classic examples of rushed romance where I can hardly root for them because what is there to root for? They have already screwed, fought, etc. and haven't had a date. Who cares?

I did think that Rafe and Carly were pretty good yesterday. I don't find GG as annoyingly dull in his acting as much as I used to. He is doing much better!
Can't wait for today's show!

Just saw yesterday's episode. Cannot believe Hope is still blaming Bo for Ciara's nightmares. What a self delusional selfish brat. I'm supposed to root for Hope to get back the man she is trashing to HIS relatives???
No thanks.
Do the writers not remember what really happened or is Hope supposed to be so self serving. The kidnapper basically told Bo and Hope WHY he kidnapped Ciara and it was because of Hope. And there is no way Hope or anyone could know what would have happened if she had finished the payoff. Since all of Bo's visions did come true, there was a better than average chance Ciara would have been killed. Hope really does and always has blamed Bo for everything.

Bo deserves so much better.

The Christmas episode today was soooo much better then yesterday's...And we have the Old People to thank for it.

As far as I am concerned the 60 plus crowd could have their own spin off show. I would eat that up. They could call it "The Numbered Days Of Our Lives".

Vivan looked like a Christmas gypsy in that head-dress. I so badly wanted her to tell peoples fortunes and have them all be horrible. I LOVED her little digs at everyone. The knocks she gave to Chloe had me laughing out loud. She is just awesome.

Nadia looked so pretty in that red dress. Fit like a glove.

I saw JA's ouchie today. Man, that tumble must have hurt.

Stefano...you are pure evil. Yet, I felt bad for him when Ej was telling him he wasn't going to get to see Johnny for Christmas. The magic of Joe.

I loved all the scenes at the Kiriakis Manor. It was so close to being the dysfunctional Christmas I have always craved seeing on this show. For years I have yearned for a manic Dimera Christmas complete with the family turkey and trimmings being hurled through a pair of french doors. I just love it when wealthy characters behave like tacky animals. Today gave me just a taste of that. I loved seeing Kate and Steffy crash the party. The snipes between Viv and Steffy were classic.

Victor's grumpy ways are delightful. He reminds me more and more of Wilford Brimley...I freaking love Wilford Brimely!!!! Rock me Diabeetus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4LyaNgzy6U

The scenes at the hospital were enjoyable. Nathan makes a good Horton imo.

I feel bad for Ej.

Safe are a couple of assholes. I am on team Ej in this situation.

I don't get why Anna is doing this. At first I thought she was trying to help Sydney, but now it appears this is all about money...weirdness.

And those are my random thoughts on Today's show.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

I loved the memory flashback Maggie had of Tom.
Vivian was so awesome. The Di-rakis party of dysfunction was pretty great.
Nathan reading the story didn't have as much umph because he hasn't been around as long. He JUST hasn't been around long enough, Horton or no, to impact the viewers. That's only my opinion, but I would have loved to have seen Maggie do it.
Ejafe....meh. Getting very tired of them. Even the Anna/Sydney scene didn't do much for me.
I am a little puzzled about Monday's preview when EJ gets the message. Either he is planning the best heist in the world, or he is NOT part of this.
