After all... tomorrow is another day!

Whoa. Hope and Justin kiss? As much as the Carbo kiss felt kind of out of the blue, the Hope-Justin kiss seems WAYYYYY too soon. Wonder what Viv has to gain by telling Bo about that? Causing chaos for Carbo as Bo scrambles to try to win Fancy Face back maybe?

Nathan being reduced to begging for Melanie does not make me like Nathan-Mel at all and in the process they are dampening what enthusiasm I've had for Phelanie to this point. And just aesthetically, Stephanie is way better looking (IMO) than Melanie so that two guys are leaving the beauty queen by the wayside to try to win the hand of the quirky girl... it's just kind of ridiculous.

It sounds like they kiss as a cover. They are in Vivian's room snooping around and she catches them, so they kiss.

Love Vivian telling Bo about the kiss.
Me too. :D I'm glad they're using all of them living in the same house as story potential, too!

Much prefers sweevil, snarky EJ over Father Figure Fucktard Eejiot.

Maybe it's because they are trying to avoid spoiling anything about Mickey...but does it seem like a lot of filler/redux to anyone else?

Quoting limited to 4 levels deepI am sure she will be fearful, as his job can be dangerous, but my guess is he will be based in Salem like Tim is, and won't travel around so much anymore. Agents are usually based in one city for a period of 2 - 3 years. I would doubt that he would be imvolved in WP anymore. I remember he said he didn't want to babysit-- he had other cases he wanted to be in on.
Comments like the bolded make me wish DOOL had made Rafe work for the ISA. The ISA is fictional so the writers can take license with them as they please. The FBI is a real USG entity and the writers do a terrible job portraying the Bureau.

A. A FBI agent's job is less dangerous than a city PD officer (less dangerous than Roman, Bo, or Hope's job).
B. Agents are not usually based in one city for a period of 2-3 years.
C. Witness Protection is not a part of the FBI mission, it is strictly handled by the United States Marshals Service (although I'm sure the ISA could perform that function nicely in Salem).

Where people get this ridiculous information is beyond me.

PS. If you get fired from the FBI....they do NOT ask you to come back.
Thank you for posting this. When I read last year that Sami was going to be protected by an FBI agent I shook my head because I knew that Marshalls handle WP and not the FBI. But they made up some lame excuse at the time so they could use it as Rafe's reason for being involved in every aspect of this s/l. Whatever.
 You are welcome.
Sorry, but my son is an FBI agent and has been based in NYC for 2 1/2 years, so yes they do stay in one place for that period of time. The WP was a made up thing so that Rafe could be with Sami and he was asked for particularly by Roman to protect his daughter. And yes, FBI agents jobs CAN be more dangerous than a city police officer, it depends on the assignment. My husband was a city cop for 27 years and I would not ever lessen the danger he was in.
We don't know if Rafe was exactly fired from the FBI. He may have been put on leave until everything was investigated, but yes, if you are fired, you are not asked to return.

Bravo for your son. I feel for him if he is only 2.5 years in and has been assigned to NY. The cost of living on his GS11 salary must be a bitch. Since he is in a top 17 office he can finish out his career there if he so chooses... the Bureau isn't going to force him to move in six months as the person I quoted suggested.

As for the danger, regular PD officers are on the street and in dangerous situations on a daily basis. Special Agents are in the office doing ECs and 302s 95% of the time no matter what violations they are assigned to work. If you don't know what ECs and 302s are, ask your son, he will tell you I'm sure. Kudos to your husband for serving on a PD.

I stand by my original assertion that Days should have gone the ISA route and left the FBI alone.

It doesn't matter what profession you're in, Days makes a joke of it. I can certainly say with confidence that none of the "legal" scenes or references on this show approximate reality. I imagine doctors and nurses feel the same way about the way they and medicine in general are portrayed on the show--like for example, when Bo was having his visions and Kayla, I believe, was looking at a CT scan of his skull and referred to them as X-rays (and that's a minor example). Then there are business moguls who have no office and who conduct business on cell phones and laptops and who don't ever actually seem to do any work whatsoever. And I feel, quite strongly, that the Catholic Church would have A LOT of issues with Father Matt's theology and priestly advice.

So I really don't care if the FBI isn't accurately portrayed by this show. They can get in line behind the other professions that Days insults on a daily basis.

ITA with the bold part of your post. That, in essence, is the whole of my point. As an American viewer of the show it irks me that they went there.

So be it that you, "really don't care if the FBI isn't accurately portrayed in this show." You are certainly entitled to your opinion. And I am entitled to mine.

wow. That's just a tad bit defensive, isn't it? If I got upset everytime a show portrayed a teacher in a negative light (Glee is one of my favorite shows!), I wouldn't be watching anything. I'm with Paxton. It's actually kind of fun to poke holes in the lack of realism in this show. And, I'm an American. So, it makes the rest of us Americans on this board less of an American if it doesn't bother us? I sincerely doubt too many people get their education about different occupations from watching soaps.
Sure, they could pay someone to do the homework and get a consultant, but then they wouldn't have too many actors left.

Neat, we get to see Safe get all uppity at the trial. Babynapper crying foul at babynapper. I'm sure we will get to see Sami crying/screaming/judging which makes me hate her all the more and the more I come to dislike Sami, the more I hate Lucas from saving her death-row butt.

I love Nicole and I want her to get whats coming to her but to watch Sami win in this situation just irks me.

Nope not defensive at all. Sorry if you read it that way. Just restating my original point.

No it doesn't make you less American for sharing Paxton's opinion and not being bothered by it. If I were Canadian it would irk me if they used the RCMP, if I were a Brit MI5, Israeli Shin Bet, and so on. Again...JMO.

And you are probably right when you say: "I sincerely doubt too many people get their education about different occupations from watching soaps"...these days, frankly, not too many people watch soaps.
