How long have we heard the tireless argument that Ejami is endgame? Please. I hardly think the show will suffer in the ratings considering the fact that they aren't together now and the ratings are good.
want to bet? this show is good now? you looke in the ratings before two eyars ago the same ratings peeps watch only becuse the other soap ar bed now days lost in the week of december 14 218000.
the episode safe sex got the Least expect ! last time they tried to do ej darker they failed I tell you that's a fact without the numbers of Ejami they are cenceld that's a fact.
Instead of using "na-na-na-na-boo-boo" verbage, could you give us some examples to support your claims? They survived Marlena and John leaving. They've survived other lousy storylines. I hardly think Ejami, give or take, will send a nail in Days's coffin. I venture a guess to say that they could even survive James Scott's leaving. If you have facts to prove otherwise (besides spouting off so-called numbers of fanbase members), please do so.

:hail: Thank you. I've heard enough garbage about Ejami being the ratings juggernaut. It's all useless claims.

I've been thinking and posting for about three weeks now that everything fit for EJ to be the mastermind. For me it works because he had motive (revenge on everyone), means (unlimited material resources, particularly since he apparently put all DiMera assets in his name) and opportunity (we know he had people looking for Nicole). I don't see why it makes no sense from the perspective of his character, in fact to me it's a rare-these-days convergence of character and plot.
ICAM that it makes sense from both the perspective of the character and the plot line.

Let me preface this next part by saying that I have been a huge Sami fan for years. I have always rooted for her against Carrie, Nicole, et al. At this juncture though, I'm with EJ, I hate Sami too. Here is why...

Sami's snarky attitude with Nicole (after WP) about how she and EJ still had 'it' was totally in character. Sami always fought with Carrie or Nicole over men. But at the same time it was out of character because she was telling Rafe that she loved him and didn't want him to leave. Sami has never been a cheater. Now which was is Sami? Did you love Rafe or did you still have 'it' with EJ? Was she just stringing EJ along just to 'f' with Nicole. I don't think so. She wouldn't have tried to stop the wedding if that were the case. But lets look at it from EJs perspective....she is all over the place. Sami was giving him the longing looks, was comforting him when Tony died, was trying to 'save' him from his horrible family, came to his wedding to stop it, etc etc etc all the while she is shacking up with some other guy. EJ knew from their past history with Lucas that she can be absolutely wishy washy and will refuse to recognize any feelings she has for him when there is someone else in the picture. FF to the grave site where she is all so apologetic about keeping Grace from him, then she turns around and says that stupid crap at the vigil-on-the-dock. :shame:

Even a man in love can take only so much. [ala Bope, but that is another rant] There is a thin line between love and hate so I say go ahead and hate her EJ, for now. :flipoff: At least its a passionate emotion.

This revenge is sweet...Stephano gets it, Nicole gets it, and Sami gets it. Brady will get his soon I'm sure. So long as EJ keeps it sane and doesn't go BSC this will be great.

The EJami relationship (or non-relationship...whatever) has been seemingly one sided for far too long. At least if EJ thinks he hates her they are at ground zero...equal footing. Lets see where they go from here.

I think the reason so many want it to be EJ is because they want the controling, taunting and sleazy EJ we saw his first year on the show. Lets ignore the fact that it doesn't make sense for this storyline (or the whole story this past year when they whined about EJ not being in control).

But after reading this thread I think the main reason they want it to be EJ is so they can start yet another fan base battle.

And the people working with the NBC site are retards that can go an fuck themselfs.
Well, you missed that guess with me, since I'm rather sick of fanbase wars. I just think it's a great twist and gives JS something meaty to chew on. Not to mention, it brings back what EJ was......in control. Your post doesn't make any sense. And, pray tell, WHY doesn't it make sense?
Why? Because EJ has been acting like a fucking psycho threatening to kill Nicole when she didn't tell him where Sidney was even though she didn't know, but now it turns out he did all along which makes all the scenes during the Cleveland chapter a big waste of time.
Why would it seem like a waste of time? What was he going to do, tell her he did it? It was a good way to vent his anger at her AND hide the fact that he did it at the same time.

EJ and Anna working together, but could you see them fucking each other too? LOL
L.M.A.O. Almost spewed on my poor laptop here, ahahahaa....

Never considered the possibility. Eh, you never know. But Leanne Hunley as cougar? Don't see it...See - this is why I was lobbying for Kate!
She played it on Dawson's Creek. I think she played a teacher that had an affiar with one of the shows main characters.
Yup! Pacey and Mrs. Jacobs!

Acting and venting at Nicole who lied to him. I think the emotion is real but not the words. She almost got away with kidnapping his daughter. I think he has a right to be pissed at her. EJ has to play this up and everyone is buying into it. so its working. No one suspects him at all. They think he is just sooo broken up. Cant eat, cant sleep. Being an emotional basketcase. I bet he goes into his bedroom and just laughs at the suckers. We need a scene like that soon. That would be made of awsome. I miss EJ's evil smirks.

Cleveland gave EJ the means to finally get his revenge. Remember hes been stewing about revenge ever since Sami lied to him about Grace. Nicole took the one tool (Johnny) that he had to get revenge with. Nicole convinced him to drop full custody. She made him see that Johnny would hate him. Thats why he stopped but said he would get revenge at Sami somehow.

SAFE is the rooting couple. It was clear as day. Fine with me. Good v Evil- I love that shit!

I commend GT for having multiple twists to this baby switch story. It was getting bogged down but now with EJ being the Sydnapper. I'm going to watch and enjoy as he keeps twisting the knife in Sami's back- over and over and over!!!! DELICIOUS!

First you have remember.... This is not "The Days of Our EJAMI" and if that is what it has become cancel it now please... If this soap's chance of staying on the air is one fan base then it doesn't stand a chance.... And I personally would not want it too, If EJ and Sami got back together, one moment.... :puke: , then I would not stop watching it. I just would not watch them, because right now he's treating her like his dog again, and I saw that relationship once, won't watch it again. But there are several others I would still watch.... PS. off subject, can someone give Philip a haircut and Nathan a comb?

Actually it makes perfect sense, he's painting himself as the victim... And in truth he was, oh God did I just say that, If EJ did not react that way then he would look guilty. EJ's MO is strangle, threaten death... then ask questions...

I have a hard time seeing this as brilliant, since it's the same "The Dimera did it" song the writers have played for the past 15 years, but this isn't even as bad him trying to take Johnny away at Grace's funeral. That was only sad because of what it did to Johnny. Syd doesn't know Sami from dirt, so she's not losing out on not being with her.

So is that the brilliant twist? Ok, I guess.
yep. some twist
once the spoiler got out about a twist, I figured it had to be that
Think of the source, it was James Scott that called it a "brilliant" twist!

I don't know why we assume this is the last and final twist or that this is the one JS was talking about. In the Fairman interview that yielded the huge twist quote he talked about things coming out now [meaning, of course, then, at the time of the interview publication], in a little bit and a lon time from then. I concluded there would be more than one twist from that comment. Here are his exact words:

Quote:

The stuff you are going to find out now and the stuff you are going to find out in a bit, and in a long time, and the way they are pulling everything together, is very interesting!

http://michaelfairmansoaps.com/2009/interviews/the-james-scott-interview-days-of-our-lives/

Of course, I don't consider JS to be the Oracle of Delphi anyway. Just because he thinks a twist is brilliant doesn't mean it is. Personally, I prefer a totally character-driven twist like this one than a "surprise" guilty party whose motives and opportunity have to be fanwanked to a fare-thee-well, like Kate.

Which probably means he's excited about the Sweevil EJ coming back. who knows? I'll just watch and go along for the ride. As long as Sami doesn't do too many theatrics, I'll be fine.

I don't see how EJ is any more character driven than Kate would be. They're both unforgiving people with good reason to want to get back at Stefano.

I don' remember who said the twist was brilliant, but if this is it, whoever that person is was just as wrong as the person who's selling Mickey's death as shocking.
