Classy, huh? Same stuff got slung around over on sony when a poster started a thread to complain about the incident, and got it pulled.

So..... Did the Lumi fans invite James Scott to a Lumi event? And then got pissed when he flipped someone off? I'm confused. :drunk:
I'm not a Lumi fan and wasn't at that event so I make no representations about James Scott's or anyone else's behavior. Somebody said they had never seen the picture so I provided the link. That's all.

Apparently, that is the nick-name this poster chooses to use for Ejami fans.

Rapist/Sami = rapemi
not about the fans ... its about the pairing.

James Scott was a charity event that Second Chances was a sponsor for, thus contributing financially to his paycheck for being there ... he crossed out the Second Chances logo and wrote "sucks" next to it on the jersey that was won by a fan (I think) and he proceeded to flip the bird at the logo and in the direction of the representatives of the site who were there. That as pretty damn rude. He didn't lose his job, or issue an apology, or anything, and I saw a whole heck of a lot of his fans excusing his behavior as a joke, or no big deal, when Bryan's joke that Ejami fan "eat there young" a few years ago had some screaming for his head on stick, and he issued a formal apology to them. But whatever.

I'd think the term "rapemis" wasn't said with warm thoughts toward the people it was referring to, but whatever.

From what I read from that poster, it was about the fans............but whatever.

As far as JS, GG, and BD are concerned they did what they did..........build a bridge...............I don't see any of it as life altering, maybe poor judges of character at the moment......we've all been there (or at least I have).

Oh, and just for the record, I am an Ejami fan (fan being the operative word) or rapemiami (as some so eloquently put it) or whatever the case may be, and I can differentiate between real and fiction.......sometimes people just need to take a step back...................just sayin'

Off the soapbox :soapbox:

referring to the fans as rapemis, is the same as calling them ejamis, or others safes, or bopes, or lumis, or oh I don't know, lumitics, lunis, lumisafehoes ... you know ... the fan base shit gets petty on all sides, but the rapemi name is based on combining "rapist" with Sami ... that's all. But whatever.

Rapemi, how enduring. You all should be so proud.

And now James was flipping the bird at the representative of the Lumi site. LOL!! Next he is going to kick a puppy on his way out of the venue. But this is all besides the point. This thread is all about Galen being a very insensitive prick.

Oh, and I can differeniate between real and fiction too ... I don't think James Scott is a rapist, EJ is. I just think James Scott is a tool. Just like so many EJ fans think that Rafe is creepy, and Galen is a douche. No difference. No better than anyone else.

Eh... not really. Not to me anyway. Referring to any group of fans as the "rapemis" (Rape Me's?) is even more tacky and tasteless than usual, IMO.

Well I personally find the coupling tacky and tasteless, so its appropriate. The names that they have for Lumis and Ejoles and Safes are not any better, like I said, its petty all around ... but fine whatever, lets make this about Lumi fans now, instead of the fact that James Scott did something fucked up to the fans, and what he did was comparable to what Galen allegedly did ... which was why it was brought up in the first place.

Okay, Lumi is combo of LUcas and saMI, Safe is combo of Sami and rAFE, Ejole is EJ and nicOLE..........where exactly does rape fit with EJ and Sami??

THIS is the point I'm making........it's not just like the other names for the other fan groups..........

LoL. Please. I'm the last person you'll ever see getting involved in this petty fanbase bickering. I no more want to bash Lumi fans than I want to bash Ejami and Safe fans. Truth be told, I really don't give a shit. I simply thought the "rapemi" fanbase name was tacky and decided to say so. :)

She can speak for herself (but apparently I'm going to beat her to it), but I think she meant the similar derrogatory names opposing fanbases have come up for those couples. And I agree. I do think RAPEMI is tacky, but it's not any tackier than any of the others that have been made up and used against other couples/fans. There's on for pretty much every couple that involves Sami or EJ.

[anti-Ejami fan]"Because EJ raped Sami which means their fans support rape and rapists and they probably want to be raped themselves..."[/anti-Ejami fan]
