Upon getting home and rewatching the Mia/Maggie scenes, I actually thought TS wasn't that bad. I was able to better focus on the show as opposed to watching in the break room at work and I enjoyed her performance far more. I still liked her breakdown at the end.
A few more things...LOVED Philip springing into action to fly Melissa in. I like how supportive of Melanie and the Horton's he's been. I was glad we finally got some Lucas/Will scenes. Those were good. Julie talking with Maggie as they left the kitchen and mentioning how Alice was not feeling well and wanted to make the service but wasn't sure if she could was a nice touch. The way in which they had Julie and Maggie talk about as they left as the scene was focused on Lucas, Doug, Mia, and Melanie was pretty cool. I love when we can actually hear conversations in the background of things going on and hearing about Alice was rather important so all the better. What I love is how conflicted and complicated it will get with the revelation of the daughter. Who will be on whom's side? Melanie's anger at Carly, a woman she barely knows, is a bit convoluted but I understand why. As well, the "Melanie, protector of the Horton's" had me rolling my eyes. HELLO, Mel, your actions got Nick jailed. Yes, she loves Maggie but it was pretty clear to me that Maggie was relieved Nathan and Mel were over. I saw a bit of that Horton hypocrisy rearing it's head in people other than Hope and Julie back then.
But all in all, good acting, good soapy stuff.
LOVED how Peter's playing this...as a man truly in love with two women. Clearly he gets reality. A person can LOVE deeply more than one person, albeit it is usually not simultaneously. But Bo loved Carly deeply when Hope was dead. The UNreal part is that Hope returned for the dead, not that Bo still has feelings for a woman he once loved deeply.

Echoing everyone's sentiment; Cope was tremendous today! Now that was soapy goodness at it's core, the dialogue was fantastic, the performance's spot on and the only thing that bugged me was Melanie butting in. I was glued to the tube waiting for the next verbal dagger to be thrust!
The more I see/hear Stephanzz the more I hate her. I wish she would go away. Trying to fix the goody goody characters by making them bitchy doesn't work for me. Yes, now she has a slight edge but bitch is just too easy.
I still want Mia off my screen. TS brought something to work today but it isn't very good, she isn't getting better and again, trying to salvage her character by making her a bitch is just lame. Move her back to Salem West with her horrid mother that threw her out.
It was really nice to FINALLY hear what happened to the Broe relationship (a year later) and I liked the notion of the double date, it was a nice touch of realism even if it involved Brianna.
I wish there were more Hortons involved in Maggie's story because Mia and Mel being major supporting roles is not that interesting to me. I realize they live with Maggie but I would rather see more Lucas, Hope, Doug and Julie than the kids.
All I know is that Bo is in deep doo doo.

ITA with everyone else on Hope/Carly. CC and KA owned it today, and the writing was great. Both of them had valid points. I loved the way they had Hope go at Bo, too. Speaking of Bo, I LOL'ed when he went in for yet another kiss, five minutes after the confronation. He's clearly not remorseful at all.
LMAO at Melanie randomly jumping into the fray. It would've been so much better if she had a real reason to dislike/distrust Carly beforehand. They should've given Melanie a relationship with Hope and Mia, and use that to explain why she's so quick to side with them over Carly, instead of using an accidental spill to get this story going.
The quad is good at first, but there's no consistency. Nathan changed his mind about what the kiss meant depending on who he was speaking to, and it'd be easy to explain it away based on pride, except every one of these people seem to have multiple personalities.
Mia's scenes with Maggie were good today, imo. TS does sad well. Things got a little unhinged at the end, but that's probably partially because Mia broke down over someone she's never been on screen with, so I can't hold that against her.
Danloe's scenes were sweet, except that long drawn out convo about Brady in a public place. They should have better than being a vehicle for brianna angst. Two years later, they finally try to explain what went wrong with broe. Ari had no shame about standing there taking it all in, either. IDK what she really expected to hear from Chloe. She knows Brady still isn't over Nicole. Or she should. It was nice to see a group of people having fun and doing something normal, though. Brianna was really cute and tolerable for the first time in a long time.

Those Cary and Hope scenes rocked. Both Kristian and Crystal were fantastic and the dialog was great. I really do love this storyline. While I'd like to see Bo and Hope back together eventually, I love that they are going forward with the Bo and Carly pairing for the time being.
Also I'm really enjoying the Melanie, Nathan, Phillip and Stephanie quad. Can't wait for the wedding to take place.

The Horton family has been rocking it this week! Why has the show moved its focus from the first family?
Hope and Carly's confrontation was great and intense! Kristian Alfonso and Crystal Chappell brought it and were both fierce, not letting the other overpower them. These two actresses made me believe that they really hate each other. It was awesome! I agree with others who said that it was hard to choose a side because both ladies brought valid points to the table.
As for Bo and Carly, I'm believing these two as a couple. There is life after Bope.
The quadrangle is improving, but Stephanie remains the weak factor in it. While Nathan and Melanie are the clearly the rooting couple, Philip and Melanie have something invest-worthy. Nathan and Stephanie? Not so much.
Thank you, writers, for finally explaining Brady and Chloe's divorce. We've known about the divorce for two years now. Brady's been back for a little over a year now, but today was the first time the writers took the time to explain why Brady and Chloe's marriage didn't work. And it made sense!

Wow, today was great. That confrontation was super. I have now decided Bo is a prick. He can't keep it in control enough to give both women space. Ugh. Suzanne Rogers..........love...........Dang, I can't get any more lumps in my throat. I actually enjoyed Molly today. The double date was OK. The background on Chloe and Brady was nice, but otherwise, I really didn't see a purpose. My daughter was funny. She said "how do those people cry on cue?". I told her to look close. Lots of good gasping and gulping, but very few real tears, LOL.

Oooo The Hope and Carly scenes got my blood boiling. Carly is just the classic mistress...Oh no, it is never their fault. It is always the wife's fault that the marriage is falling apart. I wanted to slap the teeth out of Carly. The nerve of showing up to Hope's Aunt's home ARGH!... then the vile things she had the nerve to tell Hope. ARGH! I hope Melanie hates her mother and I hope Vivan manages to kill her...once and for all!!! *Phew* I feel better after that rant.
I liked Melanie today. hehehehehehe!
All I could think about when I saw Dr Dirty, Chloe, Brady and Ari together was how Brady had banged both of those women and that Dr Dirty would...eventually. So, it made me laugh when when Ari brought up how Chloe and Brady were exes.
Bo Brady you are a walking talking douche bag. How inappropriate! Lies! You want Hope to Lie for your ungrateful ass! Get out of Maggie's house! Geeze, everyone was stuck in the kitchen because of stupid Barly....BTW Barly makes me think of something yucky I want to avoid eating at all cost. lol At the next family crisis the Hortons need to break out the salt and put a circle around the gathering to keep out the evil assholes.
The scenes with Maggie and Mia were not bad. I think this is the best scene the actress, who plays Mia has ever done.
God, Will's hair is distracting.
I loved the Hope and Doug scenes. We need to keep Doug and Julie. Hope needs them right now.
I am really shocked we have not seen Justin today. I would have thought he would be at Hope's side.
Poor Maggie. I imagine the first night without your spouse would be the hardest. Death is so final. Justin's on tomorrow's US show. For like 10 seconds! And no I'm not kidding! What is the point to having Wally on the show now if all he is going to do is be on for 10 seconds and chase after Hope like a lost dog! It's ridiculous! Tomorrow's scene with Justin is so contrived it's not funny anymore!
Spoiler: click to toggle He walks in as Bo and Hope are finally talking and getting somewhere. He slams the door to deliberately stop them hugging and sorting things out and then throws himself all over Hope tells her how sorry he is for her loss while Bo is standing there. It was so horribly contrived and not really needed. He wasn't at the funeral(which wasn't shown) so it's obvious he showed up to come on to Hope more. Why else would he be there? He isn't family. I don't think he even new Mickey and I doubt Mickey even new him. Anyway that's all Justin does and it lasts for about 10-15 seconds. He is on at the end when they are talking about Mickey but he is at the back and not really shown. I'm finding Justin to be a pointless character in this story with Bo/Hope/Carly there is really no need for him to be there now. If they have him sleep with Hope that would be pointless now and stupid. I think it's obvious Hope doesn't love him.
I feel bad for Wally Kurth his character is barely on now. I just realized that scene tomorrow is about the same amount of airtime Ciara has! That's bad! I can't believe they are treating a vet character this way. Wait I forgot it's Days the show where Vets are treated like crap!
After todays(us eppy) and reading the Canadian day ahead recap I can see where this may be headed. Spoiler: click to toggle I think the reason they had Barly have sex was to add more fuel to the fire between Melanie and Carly. And make Melanie more angry at Carly. I think Melanie being Carly's daughter will come out at the wedding. They seem to be setting it up for that. If Bo and Hope were going to divorce they would of had them divorced by now. It is becoming obvious that Bo and Hope are going to be together.
I think something will happen to Carly's child or Carly and Bo won't be there to protect them. Bo will blame himself for not being there and it will bring up Zack's death and his part in it. Bo will realise his part in all that and what he did wrong. This will help bring Bo and Hope back together. I think we are finally going to see Bo and Hope grieve for their son together and deal with their issues.

About Justin, I think they have actually used Wally pretty well since he's returned. Yes he is a vet, but he was brought back in a recurring capacity. He isn't on contract. And he's getting to do more than just be Daniel's lawyer, which is why they originally brought him back. I honestly didn't think they would keep him around more than a couple months. So i'm happy he has stayed with the show. I do hope they give him more to do eventually. I like the character of Justin and Wally Kurth.

Shit, I LOVED KA today! The way she tossed her bag and told her off OOOOO so good. And also liked how Carly gave it right back, although I sympathize less with her. Regardless of what has happened with Bope, she knows that Bo's married. Hope's lameness doesnt trump Carly sleeping with a married man, especially knowing that he does love his wife and can probably work it out.
NB was decent today. I like her non-answer to Arianna's pleading questions about Brady and his feelings towards Nicole. I liked the double date and so glad that the writers realize that little stuff like double-dating, coffee talk between friends, are welcomed (at least from my part.) More "friends" scenes please!
If Brianna started off like this, they might have a chance. Just sitting talking about nothing on a park bench was better the the stupid ass bumping into each other. I dont know if Brady had a hero complex when he was with Chloe, but I hated their pairing, so that might have been the case (in between suddenly having the need to sing musicals!)
I think "rescuing" is not a trait solely given to Brady recently...seems like every man has this need to rescue the women-folk!
Why did I LOVE Melanie telling Carly OFF! You go you little spitfire. I know that was just for our show and to cause a bigger riff between Carly and Melanie, but it was soapy fun!
KA was just awesome throughout as the entitled WIFE and grieving niece. After Bo came in you saw her pacing back and forth, trying to keep it together but really failing. Then her breaking down and yelling for him to go- SO AWESOME!

Thanks for the scoop on Justin. I am starting to think Hope is going to end up falling into bed with him. I can totally see Bope not divorcing and getting back together. I just wish they didn't have Bo cheating on Hope like this. UGH! It bothers me so much. I wonder if they will set it up now to try and justify Hope sleeping with Justin. Although for some reason I don't think it will happen. But if it did it wouldn't surprise me. I don't think I could watch it though. For some reason Justin doesn't really interest me. It's probably to do with the fact I don't know much about him. They haven't really explained much about who Justin is. For people who aren't familiar with Justin from his first run it's really frustrating and confusing and makes the character uninteresting. I wish they had given Hope a better love interest I find Justin boring with Hope. He just isn't Hope's type. They are more friends to me. I don't see any sparks between them anymore. There may have been sparks at the start but they have fizzled now. If they had them sleep together now it would be pointless as the sparks between these two that were there at the start have gone. Justin's becoming too much like Patrick Lockhart now. He becoming pushy and coming on a little too much to Hope. Justin's an idiot. Why go after a woman who's your cousins wife, who's still married and obviously loves her husband? Why set himself up for the heartbreak?

Hope vs. Carly was awesome. KA, especially, did a great job. However, if the writers want Carly to be sympathetic, having her act so unapologetic about screwing Bo probably was not the way to go.

I think if Bope is going to be put back together Hope has to start sleeping with another man. In the end the score must be even.
Justin and Carly are in for some heartbreak.

Quoting limited to 4 levels deep Spoiler: click to toggle He walks in as Bo and Hope are finally talking and getting somewhere. If she loved him then that would be another story but she doesn't. I do not want another whose the daddy sl either. Bo and Hope have had too many of those sls!
