Always the Panic Spreader

I just saw a FB post from my friend, Jason King, who does extra work at NBC and Days, and he posted that Frances Reid passed away this morning!

I knew about an hour ago but wasn't going to say anything. An old buddy of mine used to work for Passions and told me.

I am waiting to hear for sure if it's true but, if so, RIP Frances.

My heart sank when I first heard this. I pray it's not true.

:( So it is true. It is never easy to say good bye. I hope DOOLS does her justice. She gave the fans many years of joy and deserves kudos.

I've always thought of Alice Horton as a second grandmother of sorts.

If this is true, the show better prepare one HELL of a tribute episode.

Noooo! :(

I can't believe it. I mean, we all knew it was coming sooner rather than later, but....it's Alice Horton, for God's sakes. It just doesn't seem possible.

I feel the same way.

Both Frances and the character of Alice were very similar to my real grandmother. Frances was fiery and mouthy. My grandmother was the same. However, my grandmother was always about family and could be so sweet and loving. A true confidante.

The thought of both of them being gone...this is hard for me to take.
