Canada's women kicked Sweden's butt tonight 13-1. Can't wait for them to face the US. |

I saw Vonn tonight get her medal tonight @ BC Place - 'twas awesome, as was seeing Canada's SECOND gold! :D Shaun White was great on the snowboarding. Gearing up for Team Canada's mens hockey game tomorrow at 4:30 - we gave Norway an ass whopping and I expect no less tomorrow versus Switzerland. Go gold or GO HOME!!!! Oh, yeah, Women's has been kicking ass. Not worried about them whatsoever. I am worried about the men's, though. Seriously, if Canada doesn't win this gold, the entire Vancouver Olympics will be looked as a complete and utter failure. There's just no if's, ands or buts. I was happy to see Van Canucks Goalie Luongo in (being a big fan anyway, as they're my home team, lol) but 8 nothing against Norway means nothing. That was a combination of us being good and their team being weak. I need to see how we size up against an actual opponent - starting with the US this week. The Russians and Swedes are serous contenders for this gold, as well. Unfortunately, we lost the Sedin twins to Sweden - one of whom is the highest goal scorer in the NHL right now (or was like 10 days ago). It'll be weird to see the Sedins play versus their Canuck team mates on Canada, LoL - particularly if when take shots on Luongo, their own Canucks goalie!!!! |

The hosting of this Olympic is a big failure. So many amateur mistakes. |

Yeah but most people don't care about the womens hockey. It's the men that counts. |

They also said "sh*t". It was actually quite humorous when it happened because it was like a bunch of skater dudes all excited and NBC has a microphone there. I thought after the whole boob incident at the Superbowl all this live stuff has a five second delay. It was pretty funny how the commentator was apologizing for it. |

Many past olympics have suffered from mistakes as well. Future olympics will as well. The biggest problem as been weather which nobody can control. |

The problem is Canada and the US are far superior to the other countries. Sweden & Finland have okay teams but they just can't compete with Canada and US. I think Sweden & Finland have only beaten the US once and never beaten Canada. Hayley Wickenheiser (Sp?) is holding a summit to hopefully grow Women's hockey around the globe. |

I know, I have never watched a women's hockey game but will definitely be watching the US vs Canada game. So far the 2 are so dominant the rest of the teams should just let us play for gold already. Sorry Edmonton sucks so bad this year in the NHL. :P |

I'm sitting here on pins and needles. Weir may actually have a chance at 4th place or even Bronze since the guy from Japan had to stop to tie his skate. *crosses fingers* |
