For those of you who can't see it...

"He kidnapped his own daughter..."

We see a shot of EJ at the cabin sitting in a chair with Sydney on his lap, looking at a computer screen.

Posted Image

Cut to Sami and EJ in the living room of the DiMera Mansion.

EJ: I will bring Sydney back.

Sami stares.

Posted Image

"Now... his plot to become a hero..."

We see EJ in the living room of Sami's apartment. He lights a piece of paper on fire and drops it to the ground.

Posted Image

Cut to Sami, Rafe and one of Sami's blonde-headed little brats sitting together at the Brady Pub.

Posted Image

SAMI: I just don't know how to go on without her.

EJ: You don't have to, Samantha.

Posted Image

"Seems to be working."

Sami turns to see EJ standing there with Sydney in his arms.

Posted Image

EJ grins.

"Days of Our Lives."

LoL @ Ali's shitty acting when EJ walks in with Sydney in his arms. Call me crazy, but that doesn't look like the face of a mother who is seeing her "dead" daughter alive and well and in the flesh for the very first time after being kidnapped. I think most mothers would look a little more... you know... excited.

LOL. Not a fan of the kids, huh?
This story is so dumb. The actors have said this scheme was going to be the start of EJ getting his brain back, and being in control again, but he's coming off like a capricious lunatic.

How can EJ want Sami to suffer alone forever, knowing he stole her children, one day, see she still has Rafe, then suddenly decide that he not only wants her to have Sydney, he wants to be her "hero" the next?

Wow...1999 flashback. Straight up from deathrow. Does anyone else see it?

As for how she can go on without her? Well...I'd imagine about the same as always. SHE'S NEVER HAD HER!

Yeah, because in that shot she actually looks worried/grieving/sad for a change, LoL.

I wish they would execute her again.

Even her hair and make-up are different, but yeah...the expression is a lot of it.

ROFL about executing her again, though.

I love how every beat of that scene plays out perfectly with the melody of the song.

"A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices..." Tony turns to see John standing at the back of the church.

"For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn..." Tony taps Marlena's shoulder and prompts her to turn around.

"FALL ON YOUR KNEES..." Marlena sees John with Belle in his arms.

"Oh night divine..." John puts Belle in Marlena's arms as she sobs.

So perfect. Truly one of the best scenes I've ever seen on this show. It gives me goosebumps everytime I watch it.

That episode was probably taped when Ali was running late for The Biggest Loser and the hairdressers/makeup people didn't have time to get her ready, so she just ran out on stage and played the scenes au natural, LoL.

Dreaming of a Melanie-free Days

Darn, I guess my dream of Sydney really being Nicole's baby is over--look at the scarf Syd's wearing. She's Sami's daughter, all right.

Be sure to tune in Friday, March 5, for this joyful reunion, and again on Monday, March 8, when Great-Grandma Caroline moves Sydney in to her special little attic over the Brady pub.

Thanks for posting!

Amen!! This scene still gives me chills...Deidre rocked this scene and everything about this scene is a classic. I wish AS would give us half of this emotion for this storyline.
