I've been enjoying Y&R lately (now that I'm caught up on my DVR after the Olympics). I'll be sad to see Muhney go since he's the one who got me back to watchin Y&R regularly after at least 15 years (if not more) away. I'm not understand what all the bitching is about.

Y&R isn't awful and it is in a better state than many other soaps...but, in my time as a viewer, in the past few years, it has tumbled from "Excellent" to Good or Mediocre.

So, while not bottom rung….that is still a big disparity. It can and SHOULD be doing better.

The show used to work well on all levels, from the “A, B to C” storylines. Now, it is unfocused and uninspired on many levels….coupled with a lot of bad casting and uncasting decisions.

That makes us even because I don't know what all the Muhney praise is about! The guy is a decent enough actor in a lousy role but nothing special IMO!

I'm actually enjoying Adam's demise.

It's really too bad because WHOMEVER was playing Adam, the character had a lot of potential! And the writing for the "forgotten son" was somewhat compelling in the beginning! Then things went off the rails!

My gosh... today was incrdibly fabulous. FINALLY. Jess: "Face it Katherine, wer'e just a couple of selfish old bitches." INCREDIBLE! And I NOW see why Big Red is playing a big part in this SL... that finally makes sense, now.

I have a feeling Phyllis isnt going to burn the letter. Atleast I hope she doesnt, there's really no coming back from that for her character if she does. She's keeping the Newman granddaughter away from her parents, and letting Ashley live out a lie. Both families would be equally done with her.

I am so happy that Phyllis showed everyone the letter, and Ashley is in denial and can't admit that the baby's were switched which is understandable but come on Ashley, its about time you face the truth.

Sorry if I spoiled anyone.. Canadian resident here!

I wish the residents of GC would do the same thing to Victor that they did to Adam.

That was a great line. Yesterday's episode was great and today's was even better. Eileen Davidson in particular was very good as Ashley went back and forth between trying to deny the truth and putting the pieces together of what really happened last summer. I just wish there was proof of what Adam did so that we could have one of those classic "shocking reveal" scenes rather than everybody looking around all confused wondering what's true and what isn't.

LoL @ Victor bitch slapping Adam after he called everyone out on being a bunch of hypocrites. That was great.

Kudos to Phyllis for doing the right thing.

I'm really curious to find out what's going to happen to Adam after this.

Amen! I'm a Victor fan, but I really am uncomfortable with the Salem Witch Trial they did with Adam. That said, I wish Adam would have faltered, admitted his misdeeds, and started on a road to making amends. For me--long haul--that would be a much more compelling story.

After all... tomorrow is another day!

I am a 100 percent certified total and complete Michelle Stafford/Phyllis hater, but I still have to give the bitch props for what she brought to that scene in the aftermath of the Adam reveal when she was alone with Michael talking on the couch. Emmy reel big time.

Nick saying "I hope you burn in hell" and Adam saying "I'll see you there" on the other hand? Writing and acting equivalent of a wet fart. Ugh.

Sharongate, bitches!

I think they're clearly setting up a lame Who Killed Adam mystery...

I don't know if it's true or not, but I've heard that Michael Muhney will be taping his last scenes soon.
