I can't believe we had to hear that horrible song TWICE.
LOL I actually think the song is great. I just wish just once someone with singing talent would sing it. So far, no one has  .

This brought back nightmares of my school's "talent show" last year (run by the parent's group, not me!), in which 3 girls, I believe, were all allowed to sing that song. Along WITH the vocals. Egads.

I am not one to see racist overtones but today that is what I saw. So call me nuts but Destiny sang a very lame ultimate white bread chick song(Miley Cyrus) and she was mediocre. Then Dani sings and she is superior to Destiny. Just made it seem like "anything a black chick can do a white chick can do better". I'm sure it was unintentional but those men running OLTL are too insensitive to see what this looked like -at least to me. Shenell cannot act for shit but it seemed humiliating. Just me-plus the shit with Jess is freakin' annoying. Not so funny anymore. She's a mess and she needs to go for therapy-not to Llanview High.
It was meant to humiliate Destiny. The writers don't care how they write for these black girls. Anything a black chick can do is always inferior to the white girls. Layla is inferior to a mental patient who spends her free time doing nothing but obsessing over a man and running the halls of high school. Destiny can't get Matthew's attention to save her life.
I'm another white chick who did NOT want Dani to win. At least on Glee, Mercedes WAS supposed to sing the opener..........
And now
Spoiler: click to toggle
:flipoff:
I rarely use this emoticon, but to YOU, damn powers that be!

Read this article. So true. "OLTL is stereotype central". What a shame this shit /show has become. They really did go overboard with the drunken Irishman stereotype. A little IK goes a long way. She's the stereotype of the idiot blonde bimbo drunk trailer trash. The episode would have been OK if they hadn't made it so OTT.

Also, Rachel (DD) got no real sendoff and that sucks.

I enjoyed the St. Patrick's day stuff myself! It was light hearted fun in the middle of off the drama.

I feel the show is only getting called out about it because of all the other drama recently. I mean seriously what does half of America do on St. Patty's day? They get shit faced on green beer and eat corn beef.

JMO :P

"Relax nobody's having sex.... at least not yet"

I just re-watched yesterday's episode, and that kiss that Sky gave Rachel on the cheek....

What could have been between Rachel and Sky. Sigh... :'(

FUCK YOU FRONS!

I was LMAO, at the beginning when Alison said "I need to get my hair did." LOL

Marty/John/Natalie= :x :x :x

Who the hell would fight over that emotionless son of a bitch?

That Dani/Destiny shit pissed me off. Dani is going to get the role of Starr, and Matthew of Cole. :eyeroll:

What century is this again?

It had been a wonderful evening and what I needed now, to give it the perfect ending, was a little of the Ludwig Van.

I really enjoyed Roxy yesterday. I always enjoy Roxy though. She's a trip. :drunk: :D

I don't get the whole Natalie/John/Marty thing either. I wouldn't fight over him.

The word for today is "Striplet" which is the word used by Todd's newspape to refer to baby Sierra Rose. :hail:

Is it just me or has Erika Slezak been... off lately? I actually though that ES looked ill in today's episode. She seemed to be shaking during her scenes... and not for acting sake.

And wtf was up with that filler fluff crap with Bo, Nora and Dorian today? I really wish that Bo would have turned down the job of Commissioner... he needs to do something else.
Erika has been off her acting game, LOL. I don't know, but who can blame her after the shoddy treatment Frons gives her for not giving her a front burner s/l.

I'm considering giving up on OLTL already. I'm sick of Jessica, Natalie, John, Marty, Ford, Langston... and just about everyone else. The only ones I'm not sick of are Bo & Nora, Kish, and Tea.

The show is just so uninteresting right now. I've only been paying close attention to Roxy. Thank god for Illene Kristen.
