OK, this is my first post here and I'm not even sure if I'm putting this in the right area. Anyhow, just wondering if any other viewers are disturbed by Laura Wright's wild and crazy mouth movements when she's all wound up and screaming out her lines. I love Laura but, I've just never seen such an out of control movement of one's mouth in my life. She must have a plethora of muscles in the lip region to pull this off. It's over the top and out of control. My mother used to watch her on another soap and said she did not recall the mouth deal back then. It's almost as bad as Rex on OLTL but in a different way. Good lord. OK, I'm done. Just want to know if anyone else has noticed this. B-) |

I'm gonna have to watch her. I'm usually put off by her screeching. |

Please try and make it through a scene just to take a gander at this. We all just crack up when we see this and sit and gaze in amazement at the whole deal. This really is evident when she is totally wound up about something, which is about in every other scene. Thanks for the reply to my "virgin" post. I tried this same one over at my other soap board a long time ago and it was ripped down straight away for that strictly taboo "actor bashing" that I get so tired of hearing! Like the actors have never heard criticism in their lives! They're actors, for God's sake. It's not like they haven't been rejected for a role or told they didn't do too well or whatever during the course of their careers. I felt like a baby over there and here, I"m 46! Not only but, when the mod would post one of those fuckin' sticky notes, everyone would come on and reply by thanking her!! "Thank you, I was getting worried about the bashing." "Thanks for the reminder." All that made me sick. Whew, I just ranted wildly. Sorry!! :D |

I always leave the room when she's in one of her screaming fits. She didn't act like this when she was on GL. I can hardly watch her. Well, she would be in good company with two characters on DAYS. Sami Brady, and Melanie. Those two could give her a run for her money. Welcome to the board. :) |
