I will let you guys know that there was a 3 way tie for the 5th Younger Actress slot. The ladies had 9 votes each. The 3 who barely missed the cut were Molly Burnett, Crystal Hunt, and Christel Khalil. |

Pretty good results Greg except B&B should have gotten the Drama Series spot over Y&R ;) Thanks for doing this. |

I must say I absolutely LOVE our Lead Actress choices- that would be one tight battle. Some others that barely missed the cut: Days of our Lives (Directing) by 1 vote Maurice Benard (Lead Actor) by 1 vote Peter Bergman (Lead Actor) by 1 vote Jeanne Cooper (Lead Actress) by 2 votes Michelle Stafford (Lead Actress) by 2 votes Brian Kerwin (Supporting Actor) by 1 vote Austin Peck (Supporting Actor) by 2 votes Jacob Young (Supporting Actor) by 2 votes Mick Hazen (Younger Actor) by 1 vote Kevin Schmidt (Younger Actor) by 1 vote Marnie Schulenberg (Younger Actress) by 2 votes |

I didn't vote for Maurice but I'm shocked he didn't make the cut. How many votes out of it was Alison Sweeney? |

I was rooting for ATWT myself. B&B was neck & neck with Y&R, but those last votes pushed Y&R over the edge. B&B ended up 5 behind, and ATWT 6 behind. Y&R was the lowest vote-getting Drama Series nominee. The top vote-getters Drama Series- Days of our Lives (24) Writing- General Hospital (23) Directing- General Hospital (22) Lead Actor-(tie) David Canary (19) & James Scott (19) Lead Actress- Crystal Chappell (17) (Sarah Brown was leading until the last votes. She ended up with 16. Supporting Actor- Billy Miller (21) Supporting Actress- Arianne Zuker (25) Younger Actor- Drew Garrett (25) Younger Actress- Kirsten Storms (23) |

Alison Sweeney ended up with only 7 votes. She was 4 away from the cutoff. Had Mark Lawson made the cut, he would have gotten the shirtless pic. Someone had to have one & James Scott's photo happened to be the right size for it. |

Oh I'm not complaining  I just thought it was funny. And it's a shame folks didn't know that a shirtless pic was in store if Mark Lawson got nominated... I think he might have gotten more votes. |

Okay, I know this isn't a real ballot, and it's only based off of less than 40 entries, but I have to get in my quota of bitching, moaning and complaining for the day, so here goes: Emily O Brien??? What did this girl do last year besides read those stupid Ouija boards and pour insane amounts of coffee???? Ugh!!!!! I'd much rather see Christel Khalil in that spot since she at least had TWO storylines-----even though most of her stories bored (and continue to bore) the shit out of me on a daily basis!!! Also, Jonathan Jackson??? For what??? He had practically NO material during the eligibility period!!! He shouldn't have been prenomed at all this year, as far as I'm concerned....now, NEXT year, he'll have some good stuff to submit, but this year?? Meh!!! GH should have submitted Brandon Barash or Dominic Zamprogna's names instead!! Don't get it!! No complaints about the Lead Actor category..........other than the fact that Peter Bergman ain't on it!!!! My Laura Wright CONTINUES to get no love for Lead Actress.......(sniffle, sniffle!) Again, I realize that my complaining is premature and silly at this point, but..............that's how the cookie crumbles, folks!! LOL!!!!!!!! |

Hillary Smith should have been in the LEAD category over either, Flannery or Chappell. Very happy to see Sweeney did NOT get nominated. That would have been horrific. The younger actress category is simply appalling. The others are hit and miss. |

I didn't participate because I only know Days actors and I don't think the majority of them deserve to be on even a fake list, but...I like the look of this list! |

Me too. Hate her. Glad she didn't make the cut. She & Christel Khalil both would have if it weren't for those last few votes. |

These are the winners. It's simply a Dream Ballot- remember when SOW used to do that years ago? It's just who Daytime Royalty would choose if we picked the nominees. I plan on doing a winners ballot when the actual nominees are announced. The choices will be based on that though, not on our Dream Ballot nominees. And it will be done by secret ballot (PM or email). :) |
