As planned, Persons Unknown has the night off tonight when NBC will air the Visa Gymnastics Championship. Also as planned, it returns next week. But, in a new wrinkle with a weird scheduling twist, it’s ending a week early on August 28th instead of September 4 (the Saturday before Labor Day).
Originally the schedule called for the 10th episode on August 21, both the 11th and 12th episodes on August 28 and the finale on September 4th. NBC will air a repeat of Law & Order: Criminal Intent on September 4th at 8pm instead.

The strange thing is that according to The Futon Critic the 11th episode will never air at all, and will only be available online before the two hour finale (12th and 13th episodes) airs on August 28.

Why not just pull the last four episodes and put them online? Last week, it barely managed a 0.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 1.26 million viewers. It has consistently been NBC’s lowest-rated hour of primetime.

Episode 11 of Persons Unknown to Stream 5pm August 21 on NBC.com

After much speculation, episode 11 of Persons Unknown now has an online only air date. In an exclusive from NBC, episode 11 of Persons Unknown will stream on NBC at 5pm PST on Augusty 21. After NBC decided to end Persons Unknown a week early, it was revealed last week that NBC would air the 11th episode of Persons Unknown, "Seven Sacrifices", online only.

Although fans of Persons Unknown knew "Seven Sacrifices" would air online only, they didn't know when NBC would make the episode available to fans ahead of the two-hour finale on August 28 ("And Then There Was One", "Shadows in the Cave").

Today, NBC exclusively confirmed to TheDeadbolt.com that episode 11 of Persons Unknown will stream live at NBC.com on Saturday, August 21 at 5pm PST. "Seven Sacrifices" will only air online and not on NBC television.

It was also confirmed to TheDeadbolt that episode 10 of Persons Unknown, "Identity", will air in its regular time slot on NBC.

That's the plan. I'm not sure whether I'll watch tonight or tomorrow, though. I DVRed it since I had to work and I may just wait until tomorrow.

I just finished an #10 & #11 double feature. I can't believe the new nightwatchman fell for Janet so damn quickly. WTF is it about her snatch that makes them drop like flies?! And what's this newfound friendship between not-Erica & Father Joe? And there's more than one town?!?! That looks exactly the same? They've got lots of 'splainin' to do in #12 & #13. :toetap:

Just finished the final 2 eps of the series (because you just know there won't be a season 2). WHAT THE FUCK?!?! They lied! All was NOT revealed! I thought nothing could piss me off as much as the finale of HAPPY TOWN, but I was wrong! The last 30 minutes gave me far more questions than answers! Posted Image

We caught up on the last episodes a couple weeks ago, and I damn near through a fit. Oy Vey! That ending pissed me off!
