There are lots of Passions fans on this site, they just don't wanna admit it. You also can't hate or dislike the show if you've never watched it or given it a chance, there were alot of people on this site that say they hate Passions even though they probably have never gave the show a chance. I think these are the best actors/actress (in order) on Passions: Lindsay Hartley - Theresa Juliet Mills - Tabitha Liza Huber - Gwen Kelli McCarty - Beth Deanna Wright - 2nd Kay Ben Masters - Julian Galen Gering - Luis Eric Martsolf - 2nd Ethan Brook Kerr - Whitney Jesse Metcalfe - 1st Miguel |

And then again, maybe I just like those actors/actresses because I grew up seeing them..it doesn't mean they are spectacular at acting or anything. Its JMO though. Wait a second..isn't this the Y&R June Discussion thread? :P |

There are LOADS of them here in New England! :drunk: Somehow I see Sean Young's Meggie character working at MAC'S dive bar in the future! |

Keep in mind Ottawa is the capitol of Canada. I think they're thinking Ottawa is like a city in one of the Atlantic provinces. |

They're as geographically ignorant( and it's shameful I didn't know that since my granddad was born in Canada :embarrassed: ) as old Gramps over at Y&R! The difference is I'm not writing/producing the #1 US soap! I'd be doing a little research or quizzing one of my Canadian actors! But they want us to buy 70 year old Victor jumping out of planes and beating up muscle bound bar brawlers! So.... |

um, no actually. She left at the end of her contract. And is the Gwen that still does have a career (and bagged an Ethan). Edited by Drew, Jun 12 2010, 09:43 AM.

No, she was fired. She had a standard three year contract, hun. And Liza Huber retired from acting, dear. She's a full time mother now. Gnatalie was nasty and her Gwen was disgusting. Passions got so much better when Liza came back and she and Lindsay went at it. I've always hated Gwen, but at least Liza's was fun to watch and not a boring, loser drip like the Gnat. Anyway, stop fighting me on this. You're derailing the Y&R thread even after I attempted to get it back on track. Edited by catsmeouch, Jun 12 2010, 01:31 PM.

Hey! I resemble that crack! When I was in the Merchant Marine, we drank at lots of dirty little dive bars and some of THOSE were at plaza's! :drunk: I miss the OLD dive bar that Y&R used to feature! What was it called, THE CROW'S NEST? I remember Callie sang there! |

don't take it personally, Grandpa :D My son is a towboat captain, and when he used to drink, I can tell you for a fact, while he did go to a lot of nice places, the ones near the docks are not, and if you really want to see a dive bar, go to the ones that open (in Texas) @ 6am outside the oil refineries. I've been in plenty of them myself, so, someone saying that Ottawa is somehow exempt from dive bars on the waterfront, is just not realistic. ;) |

BTW, does anyone else find it just a tad unrealistic that the GCPD would station a MALE cop inside a female's room? I'm pretty sure they would put a female cop on guard duty, if for no other reason than to avoid a potential lawsuit. |

Heather--well, at least Vail Bloom's Heather---had FAR more testosterone running through her body than Chance. I am sure that TPIC realize that, and the fact that Heather could have probably taken him. LOL!! Or gnawed off his male parts, at the very least. I don't like how they have watered down Heather's character to accommodate Eden Riegel. I still think she should have been brought on to play Mac, or sent back over to Pine Valley.

I love me some Vail Bloom and somehow find the whole idea of her 'gnawing' sort of intriguing! I'm just a dirty old man! Well not JUST...! :drunk: |

I've been to a lot of dive bars all over the world! I can't say I've been to any Texas roughneck bars though! I've only been in Canada on two occasions and never got to SEE Ottawa let alone the bar scene there! I still cringe when I think of ONE upholstered sewer I used to drink in right here in quaint old New England! The BIGGEST dive I've ever seen to this day!Blech! I think it's ridiculous that every age and class group in GC go to JIMMY's though! |

They would DEFINITELY be wary of the gender issue! There's been a lot of bad behavior in that department by police here! |
