So Dickson was too busy crying in her beer over a broken engagement to talk to a magazine reporter... but yet she's wanting to now concentrate on her "career". honey, talking to magazine reporters is PART of your career, they don't care about your broken engagement! Even stuff from back then boggles my mind! It was like when she was railing on this youtube scene that was posted on facebook "Where's my key light??!! Sweetie, it's a nightime scene with crickets chirping, your key light has left the building! LOL

Alphanguy--LOL!! Your comments made me realize I have a clipping from one of my magazines with a picture of Brenda with a neckbrace on!! The way it was worded from the capition--that everyone was so worried about Brenda's little accident--made me giggle!! I'll find it and scan it here soon.

OOOPS!! My bad--she wasn't wearing a neckbrace in this pic, but reading the caption will give you enough reason to roll your eyes and mutter "epic drama queen" under your breath (as I'm sure Beau did too--since they were, a-hem, "dating" at this time).

You got that right!! I have a clipping of him wearing the same shirt, posing to the side. Now you wanna talk about fucking beautiful--I have a pic of him sitting on his guitar case, spreadeagled wearing tight blue jeans and his plaid shirt open up enough to see all that hair.

Oh, now THAT would be lovely to see! I got a question, have you heard his album??? I'm gonna have to get that!!! I just found out about a month or so ago, I'm dying to hear what it's like! Since is was recorded in 1976, it might actually be GOOD. But who's bright ass idea was it to not put his NAME on the cover??

AH YES!!!! Beau's album!!!! I won this on Ebay about two months ago. Only thing is--it cost a little fortune. Definitely NOT priced for the bargain bin set.

Beau has a distinct voice; to my ears it's reminiscent of Elvis Presley. My few complaints about it were, aside from his name not on the front cover and the misspelling of his surname on the spine (Kayser), was that there was only ONE song on it that Beau wrote himself. It was spoken word too....but that's not so bad because his voice is so fucking sexy he could talk to me to the moon. Also, the back cover didn't give a track listing. It was a blurred b&w pic of him with his guitar, with a letter written by the executive producers. You know, if I was in charge of this album, I would've put beefcake pics of Beau on BOTH front and back!!

The second side is cover versions of '70s pop hits like "Let Me Be There" (ONJ). The last song is his rendition of the theme to Y&R.

I'll put it to you like this....Beau should've done another album consisting of just songs he wrote himself. I know he did that back in the '70s when he was on Y&R (some of the soap magazines back then published the lyrics to one of his songs and mentioned that he had written original songs for Jill and Joann Curtis). Personally it's things like this that make me wish some online service would show the '70s eps of Y&R in their entirety!! So I can see Beau with his beautiful face and hairy chest doing his thing to maintain brotherhood in GC!!

Here's the pic of Beau I mentioned earlier.

This is a tough one. Where to place my hand and where to place my head:

I just bought a copy last night! I found an online place that sold it for 1.99$! 9.00$ althogether with priority shipping. i'm anxious to hear it! Covers of 70's pop hits are good with me! I've ALWAYS been confused about his last name, I've seen it spelled WITH and WITHOUT the "Y" On the Y&R credits it was always spelled Kazer, but in magazines, i've seen it with the "Y" in there many times.

Good for you for finding it cheap!! It's a good thing the seller on Ebay I bought it from slashed it half price because if he hadn't I would've had to pay $45 total for it!! I love the album; if you like mellow '70s music, I think you'll like it!!

Well, I'm a 70's music freak... so I'm anxious to hear it. Speaking of ebay... once there was an old Y&R coffee mug, and it was one with the pencil drawings on it!!! It had Katherine, Nikki and Vanessa on it, and I think Casey and Lucas and Lance or something... I stopped MY bidding at 65$... I don't know what it eventually went for!

Oh man--wouldn't that be something to have, if only for a collectible. I saw on Ebay once a script for a 1976 episode. It was a case "there that day, gone the next". '70s scripts are something I rarely see for Y&R on Ebay. I have seen paperback novels based on Y&R characters like Chris and Snapper, Brad and Leslie on there too.

OMG!!! I got it in the mail today, I'm listening to it now. It's not bad.. so far the title track is pretty good, and "The Way We Were" is good. I had no IDEA that he worked with Evie Sands on this! There's even a picture of him with Evie and his producer... I'm gonna have to scan that and post it for Evie on her facebook page. He sounds very Robert Goulet-like... I'm sure my mother will go Ga-Ga over it. NOW.. did yours have a booklet with it? Mine did, I didn't hear you mention a booklet.
