Random IMBD discovery of the day... Apparently Christopher Lloyd, executive producer and writer of Modern Family, is married to Arleen Sorkin (ex-Calliope, DAYS)
I had one of those moments as well. I caught about five minutes of the red carpet coverage on E! and Julia Louis-Drefus mentioned that her sister was on True Blood. Looked it up on IMDB and I would have NEVER guessed that Holly(Lauren Bowles), the new waitress at Merlotte's was her half sister.

Boo to Dexter and MCH gettin snubbed. Was glad Modern Family won, but I would have been just as happy had Glee won. Same goes for supporting actor in a comedy. Was rooting for Chris, but I'm happy for Eric.

Boo to Mad Men winning.

So happy for Modern Family!

I'm surprised Drama wasn't the last award. But then again Glee & Modern Family seemed to get all the attention this year.

Lauren Bowles used to be on Seinfeld occasionally, and had a big part in the short-lived show Julia did before New Adventures of Old Christine.

I'm surprised they weren't running them before they actually won it...I mean, since everyone knew anyway.

Some great winners this year.

Most happy for Jim Parsons, Claire Danes, and MODERN FAMILY!!!

Poor MCH, he will never win. But man, you can't really complain when someone like Bryan Cranston beats you year after year. It's better seeing him win consecutively than the overrated guy from Boston Legal. (Forget his name)

The most undeserved award goes to Edie Falco. Though, to be honest, I kind of didn't want any of them to win.

And fuck, Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler ignored again. Idiots. Not to mention that Zach Gilford wasn't even nominated. The biggest abomination this year. Hated that Jane Lynch won as well. Bowen and Vergara were ROBBED!

Oh, and very happy for Aaron Paul as well. He's awesome.

Lynch was brilliant and her win was well deserved. Once again, you prove how little taste you have. Of course, you're nothing more than a mere child, so you may be excused.

Calm down. Bowen and Vergara were and ARE much more deserving.

Lynch's win was one of the few bright spots of the evening, for me.

I had many bright spots throughout the whole evening. I'm also one of the few who actually cared about the miniseries/movie category. Temple Grandin and You Don't Know Jack were great TV movies,

Pfft.

Don't get me wrong, they've both good. It's just that Lynch is as far suprior as your taste is far inferior. But, I suppose that's to be expected, you being Canadian and all. tsk tsk tsk

Just to agree with posters earlier in the thread. Yes, Claire Danes and Anna Paquin are weird.

Michael C. Hall isn't some great attraction, physically.

George Clooney didn't deserve a standing ovation.

January Jones didn't look that bad. I'm not saying I liked her look, but my eyes accepted it.

And Nina Dobrev (Shelley Hennig look alike, though I don't see it) is awesome. DEGRASSI IN THE HOUSE!
