According to the latest ratings Safe is not the rage. Their much anticipated reunion brought bottom ratings.
The numbers I read have them up from a week ago... the first increase in many weeks...It will be hard to recover from the Ejami trainwreck :shame: , but we have to start some where
Pffft..... yeah...., no!!

Coincidentaly the leading man is in a coma, the heroine shot him, and the hero is on the front burner.

The week before was also the last week of summer..I seriously doubt Safe is the reason those ratings rose. There are so many other factors that come into play other than that.

Any increase of viewers no matter what the reason is a plus... Maggie and Victor and Kate and Stefano have been fun to watch

I think that if TPTB learned and used the word BALANCE in their show, we may not be so sick of Sami and her whole man clan. Problem is that they think that way too much is a good thing.

Just when I thought the Ej and Sami show was over...more of this crap :puke: ....I for one hope it is SAmi and Rafe working together :smooch: to prove that EJ is"faking " his progress as noted in the spoilers
As noted in what spoilers?
Check out the spoilers for the week of Sept 27th...updated today
I didn't see anything about Sami and Rafe working together to prove EJ is faking in the spoilers.

You mean the previous week which featured the big reveal, Safe reunion, sex scene and engagement?

Yeah...I wouldn't be touting anything positive about Safe and the ratings just yet.

I think that if TPTB learned and used the word BALANCE in their show, we may not be so sick of Sami and her whole man clan. Problem is that they think that way too much is a good thing.
To get the BALANCE thing moving, we need atleast a 6 months hiatus of Sami and then they can bring her back SUPER slow...like once a month...that's the dream to restore order in the universe. :D

Never going to happen. Sweeney should do what Lucci does and just take the summer off. They do need more balance, and I'm glad there using their vets.

How long has Lucci been doing that? I've heard that Anthony Geary does the same thing and he spends his summers in Europe.

Lucci has been doing it for a while. She likes to spend time in New York. Anthony Geary I'm not sure, but I know he does take summers off. There was just an article about him coming back to GH after his break.

I'll bet you anything it's a red herring and EJ is just calling out Samantha... Like Rafe being asked his name and he said Sami..

Exactly..I really don't think they'd need Arianna to find out Sami shot him if he already knew..

The Safe reunion rated the highest of the week, incidentially it was the same day and the main EJARI scene, it hit a 2.0.

Much prefers sweevil, snarky EJ over Father Figure Fucktard Eejiot.

Sami and Rafe were featured all that week - culminating in the proposal that Friday. The ratings crapped out for the week...a week when it would have been logical to expect the ratings to jump, particularly considering the big payoff and the hallowed reunion and 'making up for lost time in the bedroom' that Kenny C. promised.

And given the weekly spoilers read like this:
Quote:

Monday, August 30th
Sami proclaims her love for Rafe. He reaffirms his feelings for Sami, and they make love. EJ realizes hes alone on what was supposed to be his wedding night.

Tuesday, August 31st
Stefano and Kate swear to Will that they were not involved in EJs plans. Elsewhere, Caroline gives Arianna a lecture about family. Sami and Rafe make up for lost time in the bedroom.

Wednesday, September 1st
EJ threatens Nicole and tries to kill her. Daniel arrives and stops EJ. Nicole is rattled and fears that EJ will eventually succeed in killing her. Daniel proves to Nicole that good guys really do exist.

Thursday, September 2nd
Kate worries about EJs next move. Stefano assures her that he will handle his son. Sami will stop at nothing to keep EJ from taking her children.

Friday, September 3rd
Nicole tells Chloe how lucky she is and warns her not to screw things up. Later, Nicole changes her mind about staying in Salem. Rafe gets down on bended knee and has just one question for Sami.

I still wouldn't be celebrating the week as an example of Safe's ratings impact.

I'm not sure why we're discussing ratings in here, but obviously the ratings have been lower. The press releases show when the ratings hit or tie an all time low, and they've haven't done that recently. Nothing is bringing in ratings this year, and that goes for every couple. But once again, the same people who complained about people blaming one couple for the ratings being down a couple of months ago are blaming another couple for the ratings now.
