Thank you so much for taking the time to post this interview. I enjoyed Eileen Davidson's honesty about her character. She was right when she said viewers lost alot of respect for Ashley for being a sperm stealer and wanted her to get her come uppance. Interesting her comments about Victoria Rowell and how VR's points, some of which are valid, lose credibility because of the mean spirited approach she takes. ED certainly didn't seem interested in any sort of reunion between Ashley and Victor and who can blame her? She said she adores working with Melody Thomas Scott and she really liked the scene between Nikki and Ashley in the spa which ED felt was part of redeeming Ashley. |

Thanks, Android for bringing this over. She brings up some very good points on the things on screen, and it's interesting to hear her take on the behind the scenes drama, as well. I like the way Y & R lets secrets go for awhile instead of ruining the story by tackling things early on like some other shows (Days comes to mind), but it would be nice to see them let the truth out about Ashley's paternity, and give her a story that's not about Abby, Jack, and Jabot. |

As usual constant misquoting & skewing what was actually said in a desperate effort to make it about the messenger instead of the message to avoid dealing with the issues. Which is especially hilarious given Eileen & Jeanne both having done their fair share of "whining" to the press & creating controversy themselves. Edited by DeeDee, Oct 6 2010, 08:27 PM.

With the blatantly obvious Phyllis vs Diane stuff that's going to happen, I didn't even think about the great old Ashley/Diane rivalry, IMO Diane's strongest one. Hopefully the writers did. Davidson & West would be absolute dynamite together! I'm practically wetting my pants just thinking about it. Please go there Y&R! Please! (you just know they won't too....)  |

I believe she's saying that ED is misquoting & skewing what VR originally said, focusing on VR as the messenger rather than the actual, much more important message. And I think there's some truth to that. I mean, what's more mean-spirited? Racism at the workplace or Victoria Rowell? |
