Ugh. I'm SO over the Windass/Armstrong show. Meanwhile, I'm surprised they're getting rid of Katy since they seem so determined to focus on this family since she's about the only one of them I actually like right now.
Owen and Izzy have always been horrible creatures that I've despised. At least it looks like they could finally be taking sexy Gary away from her. At least, they finally better be.

The Lamp! was the best mystery any soap has done for ages. Hilarious!

Remember the Coronation Street episode from June 18, 1986?

You know what i know...was the fire that ripped through The Rovers.

Shocking. Only yesterday were they downplaying rumors she was quitting for good.

She'll be missed.

Shocked to hear this, her illness was kept very private for obvious reasons. Gonna miss this lady Anne Kirkbride so much, grew up with Deirdre on Corrie. Very sad.

The recorder is a terrible invention.

Has Gail gone psychopath?

Has Gail gone psychopath?
The grave scene, I'm guessing? You may joke, but anything would be better than watching her being stuck with Winnie the Pooh.

Jenny is one of my favourite things about the show right now. She gave Maria a great wallop tonight.

I can't even stand to watch this show in clip form now. Too awful for words.

Someone was asking around for iconic moments for each show, for some British soap thing they're doing. I gave them some of mine, but thought you all might be interested in listing some of yours. (in the appropriate threads I mean)

Obviously Richard Hillman's drive into the canal.

Gail and Eileen's street fight over Todd's homosexuality was fun.

Hard for me to really pick any here. I watched the show regularly from 06-08/9 and a little bit of 10. I was thoroughly enjoying it (Violet & Jamie in the forefront, David tormenting Gail, the Conners) but I can't say anything was particularly iconic that stands out in my memory.

David pushing Gail down the stairs is definitely iconic.

The last thing this show needs is someone connected to Michelle, but Shayne Ward is also one of the sexiest men I've ever seen and Corrie rarely casts true hunks. Dilemma.

As an American viewer who is also a fan of Shayne, it's enough reason for me to start watching. He doesn't begin airing until August.
