I'm baffled by the outpouring on DS of love for Emma. What was so great about her?

I liked her, or at least Anna Acton well enough, but from her casting announcement we always knew she wasn't going to be around long-term. I just hope we still get a bit more of Cameron. I don't want to say goodbye to Malachy again.

But she was so dull, especially compared to Max or any of his prior women.

Yay! I love Tanya!

I don't watch EE anymore, but I will tune into the 30th anniversary week to see who killed Lucy, to see Tanya and to watch the live show :)

Word has it Dot will kill Nick.

I really hope it's true. June Brown will KILL it!

I saw two stories about it and one said she would kill him after he reveals he murdered Reg Cox. Haha. I took that one with a grain of salt. I agree she'd be great in that storyline but I don't think I want to see Nick gone permanently.

Honestly, it's past time. He does these horrible things and she throws him out and he comes back again and again.

Nearly killing her grandson and great grandson, there just has to come a point.

... And it's already a repeat of how Nick killed Ashley.

I agree that it's a repeat of the Ashley thing but he was never around long enough to get on my nerves. I liked the idea of the original villain coming back now and then. There was something intriguing to me also with how he handled the baby.

But that's why Dot putting her son down is just perfect.

The Carter melodrama show is so awful. And how many times are soaps going to do the assisted suicide story? No one cares.

I did not see that twist coming. It's always nice to be genuinely surprised.

If a whole episode was Peter with his kit off, you wouldn't see me complaining. Damn.

Shirley's starting to realize the truth. I can't wait to see how she finally handles it.

The upcoming spoilers with Dot are sure pointing to her euthanizing Nick. It would be super fitting for the man responsible for the first death in EE to die during the 30th.

There were some hints too that Reg Cox's long ago murder would figure into this but I haven't seen anything about that since early on.
