Soaps 3-6 could change each week, GH was dead last on Wednesday. Never thought I would see GH in dead last, even if for only 1 episode.

They are all so bunched up that placement really doesn't matter. It's all about simply holding the audience they have.

I expected soaps to see more of an uptick on Monday since it was a holiday but Columbus Day can be weird as it's not exactly like you have to stay in to watch TV. Holidays in the winter are different as in some locales you kind of get stuck in the house LOL.

Days went up as the week went and actually had it's worst number on Columbus Day. Go figure. It's nice to see them go up for once as the week went as opposed to go down. And I guess you can argue that Rafe/Sami/EJ is a big part of the issue. Last week was pretty dominated by the Chloe story until week's end so it seems the wedding cliffhanger on Wednesday got people to tune in. This is why I think Days will see some gains as more and more happens. Things are finally happening again so that should pique people's interest.

We'll Days gained back all their losses, which seems like a good sign. Hopefully they can build it up.

I am glad to see that they gained this week. It still sucks to have such the big loss from this time last year. I hope that it continues to climb upwards!!

I'm a little surprised OLTL dropped. People have been foaming in the mouth over it lately. I was glad they did have a huge gain last week. At least Days pick up some eyeballs last week.

I wonder with OLTL if anyone with a Nielsen box was in NYC for OLTL weekend, causing the ratings to be lower due to travel issues.

These ratings are nothing to write home about, that's for sure. After Bold and the Beautiful, there's really no difference in ratings.

Days are still equal last. And second last in total amount of viewers. Hardly anything to be happy about. Putting the EJ/SAMI/Rafe sl on every day and know one else isn't helping the show at all. Also keeping Hope in prison is just stupid and a waste. That story is going nowhere. It's flat boring right now. The only good parts have been the Bope family scenes. Hopefully it improves. Having Hope interact with the same two people all the time is boring! Both the warden and Hope's supervisor are useless characters that I could care less about. Kristian's a great actress but it's a shame the show has dragged her character on the show down to this.
There's only so much you can do with a prison sl before it gets really boring. It better pick up or Days will be at the bottom for awhile.
Days problem is the writers just don't know how to write good sl's for their powerhouse actresses. Instead they waste stories on characters no one cares about. I think the viewers are giving up on the show. They are tired of waiting for Bo and Hope to reunite. Days went downhill when they broke Bo and Hope apart.
The show's ratings won't improve much till they are back together and the stories improve!
Days are losing their viewers to the Bold and the Beautiful!
That show is doing great right now!
Their stories and writing are much better then Days right now!
